Instead of flying the corridor between Florida and Cuba, Starship Flight 12 appears to be targeting a more inclined corridor, threading the needle between Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, Cuba, the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. 1) Alpine introduce a completely new rear wing assembly and new rear wing endplates to Miami. The change is aimed at “improving overall aerodynamic performance”. The Enstone squad has also added an aero element to the rear impact structure, revised the rear suspension legs, altered the front brake drums and changed the nose camera mounts of the A526. 2) Cadillac introduce a major upgrade in Miami, chiefly focused on the floor and rear of the MAC -26. The update includes a new floor, revised diffuser, reprofiled rear suspension fairings, changes to the rear corner furniture and a new tailpipe bracket. At the front of the car there are new front wing endplates and a new front wing flap. #FIA #F1 #MiamiGP

1) Haas make a minor change to the VF-26 for the team’s first home race of the season with the addition of what it calls a “new device” to each winglet of the diffuser. The device is designed to “increase local aerodynamic downforce by modifying pressure distribution and flow behaviour”. 2) Audi’s Miami upgrades include new rear floor edges and a reshaped diffuser, while the diffuser winglets have also been modified. 1) McLaren have brought a large upgrade package to Miami, with the MCL40 getting revised front corner aero elements, new furniture and cooling louvres on the engine cover, redesigned sidepod inlets and mirrors, an all-new floor, revised rear corner furniture and an updated rear wing. 2) Unlike their close rivals, championship leaders Mercedes have brought small upgrades to the W17 in Miami.
