fun fact!! sumeru's name comes from sanskrit (सुमेरु). the name is "su" (सु) meaning wonderful and "meru" (मेरु) meaning mountain. its a mountain in dharmic myth with 5 peaks, architecture based on it usually have an odd number of layers. coincidentally, sumeru city has 5 layers!
