Mandelson should be in police custody awaiting trial and Starmer should resign in disgrace. It's the only fair conclusion.

A anonymous minister sent this text to the Chief Political Correspondent for The Times : “This is a tipping point. There can be no more excuses; we're past apologies and there cannot be another fall person in the form of Olly Robbins. The PM must go." Starmer is a goner. 🍿

If the Prime Minister's account is correct then very serious crimes were committed at the Foreign Office In which case he needs to call for a police investigation, and still resign.

Just to be clear... Lord Mandelson, a proven liar, failed security vetting to be the UK's most senior diplomat trusted with vital state and security secrets - but no one at the Foreign Office bothered to tell the PM or anyone else at Number 10 about it. Do they seriously expect us to believe this claptrap? Just how dumb do they think we are?! The Prime Minister is either a liar or a fool. Either way, he has to resign.

We now have the Government response: Neither the PM nor 10 Downing Street nor the Cabinet Office knew the Foreign Office had decided to ignore the fact Mandelson had failed his security vetting. Call it the ‘know-nothing’ government. But it leaves a major question unanswered: why would the FO take it on itself to make such a huge judgement call — and not inform/consult Downing Street? What was in it for the FO? It hadn’t even necessarily wanted Mandy, unlike Starmer and the 10 Downing Street operation. Doesn’t add up.

BREAKING NEWS (with the potential to be massive): The Guardian reveals Peter Mandelson failed advanced security vetting before becoming US ambassador. He was initially denied developed vetting clearance in January 2025 - weeks after Keir Starmer had officially announced his appointment. Foreign Office was ‘encouraged’ to deploy a rarely-used power to override the recommendation from security officials. The Government promised total transparency on the Mandelson affair after MPs forced it to release of a batch of documents about the process. But nothing it has released reveals this startling fact. Indeed, Starmer has always insisted Mandelson was subject to 'security vetting, carried out independently by the security services, which is an intensive exercise that gave him clearance for the role'. BREAKING: Leaders of Gulf and European countries believe that a peace deal between the US and Iran will take six months to be reached, per Bloomberg. Details include: 1. Gulf and European leaders are urging the US and Iran to extend their ceasefire to cover that timeframe 2. Leaders want the Strait of Hormuz opened immediately and are warning in private that a "global food crisis" may develop if that does not happen by next month 3. Gulf states believe Iran is looking to build a nuclear weapon and that has not changed amid the Iran War 4. Thus, they think a peace deal should ban Iran from enriching uranium or having long-range ballistic missiles Gulf leaders are "mostly against" resuming fighting.

Starmer forced through Mandelson's appointment despite the fact he'd been red flagged by the security services. He then lied to the House about it. He then tried to cover up publication of the documents that would have exposed the lies. If that isn't a resigning matter, what is.

Last September, Keir Starmer told Parliament three times that “full due process” was followed over the appointment of Lord Mandelson. We now know the Prime Minister misled the House. The Prime Minister must take responsibility.

Immense valuation disconnect and opportunity. At a Tungsten price of just $850 (price is currently north of$3,000), Zeus estimate post tax cashflow of $343m in just year-1. They model a 16-year LOM and cumulative cashflow that exceeds $3.2BN. The shares remain on sale and should be going bonkers, double figures already. Don’t be surprised if that happens sooner than later though. More to follow.

Huge broker revision at very cheap holding STRATEGIC MINERALS today. Zeus revise from 4.8p to a 14.9p target. Looks like a very comprehensive piece of work, 29 pages long. Flying again momentarily but look forward to working through today. Back on here properly next week.
