Anyone else a teeny tad concerned about the voter ID..even if you agree with ID Cards ( which I don't) can't they think their money is spent better elsewhere than trying to stop virtually non-existent voter fraud. You know..improving peoples lives maybe?

It's essential to be able to continue to hold virtual meetings. They improve accessibility to local democracy from all walks of life. We risk local government being paralysed. I support Mumsnet's campaign for urgent legislation to allow local councils to keep this option.

Official @ONS data on COVID infections from 17th-23rd Oct has been published. Over 50,000 new infections a day, and it is rising in almost every region of England. Deaths and pressure on the NHS are increasing. We all have a role in reducing the risk of passing the virus on.

@jadeadam_38 My husband and I are both trained nurses, he's still in the NHS. We're the only people in the street who don't go out and clap because a) It terrifies our dogs b) It would be better to vote for the NHS than to clap for it. Only of of those actions makes a difference
