Quietly existing while the world passes him by
It is hard enough for any dog or cat to be brought or found into a shelter but for seniors it is even harder
This is Beloom he is 12 years old
he didn't do anything wrong
none of them do
they have no choice with there sas circumstances
Earlier this week his whole life changed
his owner lost their home and could no longer afford Beloom's medical care and now he is sitting here sad and lonely and confused
he is tired and you can see it in his eyes he is not feeling well
Beloom has a severe ear infection
and conjunctivitis in both eyes
and a heart murmur and arthritis
The staff say he is the sweetest boy
he is gentle and dog friendly but he is quietly existing with everything loud around him and it is very overwhelming
imagine this was you?
Animals that are surrendered usually always fade away
Beloom should be in a quiet home and to be on the mend
Senior dogs will sit quietly behind kennel wall just fading away
he is already scared and is shivering
his whole life has been turned upside down

🎉🎉UPDATE: Max has a rescue ready to pick him up tomorrow — transport leaves Tuesday, but he still needs pledges NOW
Max is finally getting his chance. A rescue is stepping in and he is scheduled for pickup tomorrow, with transport to IL set for next Tuesday.
To get him all the way to safety, pledges are still needed to cover transport to his adopter ($750) plus his neuter 30 days after arrival.
