This is very much rooted in communism. The Soviet "new man" had to be an emotionless, musclebound worker and soldier for the Motherland. And crying is a capitalist weakness.
By the same token, communism is also the reason mental health is so shunned in Eastern Europe. Because communist asylums pretty much existed for only one purpose: to lock up dissenters with made up mental illnesses.
And there was no middle ground. Either you were a healthy, productive little government drone, or you were a madman that had to be locked up in an asylum for the rest of your life for "the people's safety".
Men cannot cry because that's 'weak'. Men cannot take mental health seriously or seek therapy because that's 'crazy'.
We killed the communist beast, but have yet to remove the broken shackles.

‼️ Tesla is remotely disabling cars and emailing owners who have been using FSD activation hacks in countries where FSD is not yet permitted.
Users report they had no say in it, Tesla simply altered the software remotely and is forcing them to update. Disabling connectivity isn't possible on most cars due to built-in eSIM.
