𝐓𝐍𝐆 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥: 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐎𝐍𝟗𝟓 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞𝐬 TNG Digital has announced that it is the first private employer in Malaysia to offer an additional RON95 petrol subsidy for all employees. Effective 1 April 2026, the initiative extends fuel support beyond the government’s Budi Madani subsidy, with no fixed quota and coverage designed to support typical household fuel usage. The subsidy is integrated directly into the TNG eWallet via its BUDI95 feature, allowing employees to refuel and manage their subsidy seamlessly without any claims process. The programme covers all employees across its subsidiaries, including contract staff and interns, and is part of the company’s Care+ Initiatives aimed at easing daily commuting costs amid rising living expenses. In addition to the petrol subsidy, employees continue to benefit from flexible working arrangements, Remote+ (work-from-anywhere arrangements), existing mileage claims for work-related travel, as well as a fixed monthly allowance that covers public transport through My50 passes, which are also accessible within the TNG eWallet. Chief Executive Officer Alan Ni said, “Our responsibility as a company goes beyond building products for millions of Malaysians. It extends to taking care of the people who build those products every day.” He added that when daily commute becomes a growing concern, companies should step forward and act, with the initiative focused on providing practical and meaningful support.

More than four million Malaysian workers, or around 26% of the workforce, have admitted to faking illness to obtain medical certificates. The Malaysian Employers Federation said 57% of employers have encountered staff taking MCs without valid reasons, with some certificates reportedly counterfeit or purchased to extend holiday leave. 🧵1
