FIFA SHOULD SUSPEND DR CONGO AND REPLACE THEM WITH NIGERIA AMID FEAR OF RECENT EBOLA VIRUS OUTBREAK IN CONGO... Dear, @FIFAWorldCup Football is a celebration, not a gamble with human lives. With reports of a recent Ebola outbreak in DR Congo, FIFA faces a choice: protect players, fans, and host communities, or risk importing a deadly virus for the sake of a game. Ebola spreads through contact with bodily fluids. A World Cup brings 26 players from different countries, staff, thousands of fans, and global media into close quarters across stadiums, hotels, and airports. One undetected case can become a cluster. No screening protocol is 100% foolproof at borders. The risk, however small, is existential. FIFA has a duty of care. In 2020, COVID-19 forced postponements and biosecure bubbles. Why would Ebola, with a much higher fatality rate, be treated differently? Suspending DR Congo while replacing them with Nigeria whom they played the Continental play off with for one tournament cycle is not discrimination — it is precaution. Athletes can return when WHO declares the outbreak contained. Nigeria is the African country that faced DR CONGO in the Continental Play off, so Nigeria stand a better chance of replacing DR CONGO. Nigeria is ready and prepared to delve into the tournament should FIFA listen to our cry. Football should unite, not endanger. Until DR Congo is Ebola-free, FIFA must choose life over logistics. @FIFAcom , @fifamedia

Portugal 🆚 the Netherlands at the 2006 World Cup produced a staggering 16 cards, the most ever shown in a single 90-minute World Cup match 🤯 The match became known as the 'Battle of Nuremberg', with the referee handing out 16 yellow cards and four red cards in one of the most chaotic games football has ever seen 😳🔥

Not in support of mass weddings or sponsoring people to go to Hajj with government money. But the way you Carry North matters for your head. Do well by telling us what your state governors are doing with their own FAAC? Why do u always hold Northern governors accountable while exonerating your own Governors? Tell us what your governors are doing with their own allocations ?

Sokoto State Government said the reason each of the 2,140 pilgrims was given ₦450,000 for going to Hajj was because they behaved well in Mecca. The government said they did not put the state in a bad light. Sokoto has a 90.05% poverty rate and is the poorest state in Nigeria.

Kashim Shetima has built a reputation for calculated controversy. He habitually makes a reckless statement meant to stir controversy that divides Nigerians then feign innocence with cryptic proverbs when held accountable. This is not his first time.
Mr. El-Bonga@el_bonga

The duo of Dantata and Isiyaka Rabiu built their wealth and became billionaires through trade largely in northern Nigeria. The legacies were passed on to their family lines who nurtured their business niches and became billionaires too.But Kasim said Lagos made them what they’re.

Whoever brings this idea of a mass wedding has done more harm than good to the North. Yes we know nikkah is Sunnah but u should do it only when you are capable. You can't sponsore mass wedding without mass job creation. Create a job for them and watch them fund their lavish wedding.

Let’s be honest even if it's for once. Those comedians in Jos promoting peace and unity are worth more than those religious leaders preaching hate and division within the state. They uses humor to unite broken communities. While the clerics uses the pulpit to spread hate and tear people apart. Which one actually represents God’s work?

Kashim Shettima thrives on controversy — it’s his political brand. He deliberately drops reckless, divisive statements just to spark outrage across Nigeria, and he clearly enjoys the chaos that follows. The moment Nigerians hold him accountable, he dodges responsibility with cryptic proverbs and the tired excuse that ‘you didn’t understand me’. Or maybe people misconstrued his statement. This isn’t new. He openly ridiculed former VP Yemi Osinbajo as ‘too gentle to president’ and reduced him to an ‘ice cream seller’. He mocked Ahmed Lawan’s name as sounding like ‘tomato seller coming from the North’ in the South, claiming he had no national relevance. And after the Supreme Court verdict, he went further — disrespectfully telling Atiku to retire to Fombina and rear livestock. Now in his unusual ways is saying Lagos made Dangote who he is just to spark another national outrage while neglecting the fact Dangote build his wealth from his uncles and grandfather Aminu Dan tata in Kano—knowing fully that Kano is a commercial center. That’s his pattern: insult, provoke, then hide behind adages. It’s calculated, it’s consistent, and Nigerians see through it. Kasimu we will always remember.
