NHS Doctor (GP)

Absolutely disgraceful racism from @jkyleofficial on @TalkTV. As the camera zooms in on me and @DrHWazir on the picket line, he sneers that โa lot of them have come into this country to be doctors.โ He based this solely on the colour of my skin. I was born in the UK. I studied and trained in the UK and I currently work as a doctor in the NHS. My grandfather fought for this country in WW2. This is racist, demeaning, and utterly unacceptable.

It has been brought to our attention that a pt was charged ยฃ54 for a Dr to sign a disabled bus pass application

An INTENSIVE CARE UNIT run by ACCPs (nurses & physios) with NO DOCTOR ON SITE?!! How on Earth is this in the best interests of the public? Are safety events being recorded? Why is doctor replacement at EVERY LEVEL by HCPs without a medical degree even being allowed?!

Can I just check Steve, on what evidential basis have you made that assertion? I am just looking at the Leng review now and what stands out to me is this: "The primary research studies included in the literature review suggested that, on balance, PAs and AAs performed similarly to foundation year doctors on many outcomes relating to safety and effectiveness." Can you tell me where it finds PAs and AAs are unsafe without pointing to anecdotal evidence? I am pretty sure if we listed all the failures PAs have seen in medical care from colleagues in the last 5 years it may well dwarf the BMA evidence submitted to Leng. It would also be completely wrong to be relied upon. Why are there two different measures being applied here?

I graduated from medical school in 2023. The total amount I borrowed was ยฃ77,549. After working for nearly three years as a doctor, this is my latest balance.

@medicalmodelbri I had an aesthetic treatment with this practitioner when they worked for a clinic in Hitchin - because they advertised her as a GP, as I wanted only a medically qualified person. She botched a procedure which will cost thousands to remedy.

The sight of patients on trolleys in corridors is heartbreaking. As an A&E doctor, I see daily how it compromises dignity and care. I'm pleased the Government is committed to ending this. I look forward to working with them to ensure everyone gets the care they deserve.

BREAKING: The UAE announces it will cuts funds for citizens who want to study in the UK out of fear of Emirati students being radicalized by Muslim Brotherhood Islamists on British campuses. An Arab state now views a European state as a dangerous Islamist radicalization hotspot
