2025 was year two of @snagged. We didn’t know exactly how big the year would be. In the end: 467 domain deals totaling $24M+. Highlights from the year: ⭐️ An in-person, six-figure deal closed in the Appalachian Mountains (paid in gold coins) 🇷🇺 A Moscow deal involving stacks of cash and Russian sanctions lawyers (also in-person) 💰 8 deals over $1M 🏆 Trophy names like Slash*com, Monarch*com, and Scribe*com (plus a lot more we can’t talk about, yet) The biggest milestone of all: @jarcho officially joining @rob as a Partner. Two friends from elementary school, now running Snagged together. Along the way, we launched the Snagged marketplace, added 75+ premium domains under representation, published 72 nerdy blog posts, and ordered 100 bobbleheads. Onward to 2026. 🪝

Stagehand .com went for $42,000 on NameJet. Good price for an investor or did they overpay? And if it was an end user, same question.

@synozeer That's the risk of buying names you think you can turn around and sell to a big company. You are betting a lot of $$ with imperfect information. Pretty surprised this was an investor purchase tbh.

@DomainGang @akennada @snagged Sorry, but I couldn't disagree more with this take. Getting the .com is not the end-all, be-all for a brand. This is how some domain investors may think, but not how most founders or builders think.

@akennada @rob @snagged My point exactly. If you can't get the .com, rebrand. Nothing wrong with the .net but you went from a B class TLD to .ai instead. Now you have to call yourself GoldenHour AI.
