Copper officially closed at record weekly prices today. This increasingly looks like the beginning of a true price-discovery phase for the metal. It reminds me of gold once it finally cleared the $2,000/oz level and the market began adjusting to a completely different pricing regime. For too long Ottawa has treated the West like an afterthought. That ends now. My Western Alliance is built on five clear pillars. We will build new pipelines, upgrade the Trans-Canada to proper freeway standards, double rail and port capacity, and create a true Western powerhouse. We will fight for constitutional reform to entrench private property rights, repeal DRIPA, and restore certainty for landowners and resource workers. We will repeal the HPOA and the Legal Professions Act changes, scrap no-fault ICBC, remove SOGI from our schools, and rehire the health professionals who were fired. We will create a one-stop permitting shop for mining so red tape no longer blocks our God-given resources. And we will use the prosperity we create to fund health care, infrastructure, and real tax relief including removing the gas tax and PST on food.
