Mania is truly about moments. To be told you physically can’t do it anymore. To fight back and fight through the scariness of getting in the ring has to be commended. The crowd loved it. Congrats to Brie and Paige. And all 4 teams performed well together.

You know loads of respect for you and your opinion. You have to remember how people consume shows. Always top of the hour. And all of the ads said 6p et so they are trying to sell the app HARD and they should. This is exactly what we did on Sunday Night Heat. It’s a sell for the rest of the night and to get people to order it. So with that viral moment you have 40 minutes also on social media for it to circulate and people who were on the fence or you tube fans might order hoping to see something else like that or just spark interest. Flip flop those matches you don’t get that.

I completely disagree coach. The “unsanctioned” match should open the show to start off hot, not only that it makes more sense for this to open AND THEN Cena comes out to intro the show, and they close with Speed. If its unsanctioned it technically shouldn’t be on the show, so it covers the storyline aspect and also starts the show off hot, not a shitty 7 minute tag match for a speed splash to go viral That can be done at the end of the hour for ESPN. Just my opinion

That’s what you do on espn to open. I show Speed huge balls to do that with no net. And there are many casuals watching the first hour so it was a perfect start to mania for that #wrestlemania

Adam not shitting on it. It’s literally my job at Sirius and at BTT studios to give my opinion AND to try and interact on social media to see who agrees or disagrees. That’s it. And in a year where a big storyline has been benched talent I have been backstage for many years and I know what this does to the lockerroom. Yes Paige has friends left in the lockerroom. Noted. But I also feel like they are gate keeping a few NXT stars who are ready like Sol Ruca and others. But yes I think the Kabuka Warriors would have been a good choice as well.

So if true no Iyo, Tiffany, Raquel, Auska, Kaire Saine, etc. but instead Paige who hasn’t had a match at this level in YEARS is the choice. I wish her nothing but the best and feel awful for those sitting on the sidelines.

Per PWInsider, Paige will make her return to WWE at WrestleMania 42, replacing Nikki Bella in the Fatal 4-Way tag team match, as Nikki has not been medically cleared following her ankle injury. She will team up with Brie on Night 1 of WrestleMania.
