There is not much we agree with the Prime Minister on… But he is right that the UK is better than the small minded, little England that Nigel Farage and Reform would have us all believe. Conservatives must remind our voters and the country of this too, at conference next week

Saying "I grew up gay on a council estate in Durham, bullied before I even knew what it meant" is the definition of victimhood politics, i.e. the very thing you claim in this post to hate. You have framed your entire argument here in the context of personal victimhood.

Equality is living your life like everyone else — not demanding to trump everyone else. That’s why I won’t back men in women’s spaces or politics built on victimhood. If that makes me a villain, so bloody be it.
