President Bukele has definitely given us the opportunity to ‘just do things’ - like build @cuboplus and then @cubo_ai. The results have even been spotted by a third party - UNESCO - who recently reported on the “unexpected strength” in open-source contributions from El Salvador which is ranked first in Latin America for quality. Understand that this is by design. We set out to be the best because we absolutely believed, when we first started more than four years ago, that high quality technical capital could deliver an economic miracle. A leapfrog to the top. ‘Excellence-only’ has long been the standard by which we operate at the @bitcoinofficesv This is why El Salvador will keep winning.

Our 4th Bitcoin Zone was inaugurated today in Apopa, San Salvador. Months of hard work go into these spaces. From the initial design to hand-shaping the Cortez Blanco wood into our signature bookshelves, every step is taken with care. The results are pure excellence and beauty, as you can see below. And the entire Bitcoin Office team plays a part in creating these spaces for the new El Salvador. Aside from offering a special place to learn about Bitcoin, we believe that extraordinary public spaces inspire awe, love, and respect for the country - inviting even more beauty and peace into the community. That is why we build them. Max and I first visited Apopa exactly four years ago this month. It was just weeks into President Bukele's régimen de excepción. Until the elimination of the gangs, Apopa had been one of the most dangerous places in the country. Today, it stands as a testament to El Salvador reborn. These are the good times (and pupusas) strong men have created!

The BITCOIN ZONE in Apopa is officially open! And the inauguration was a huge hit with the locals who turned out in droves to see the bitcoin bookshelf, the new furniture and lovely plants. They also really enjoyed the bitcoin-branded pupusas!

🇸🇻 El Salvador is winning by design. UNESCO recently reported that El Salvador 'unexpectedly' ranks first in all of Latin America for quality of its open source contributions. This excellence is coming from programs like @cuboplus where we teach skills, rigor & mindset.

Placing us alongside multi-trillion dollar tech economies like the US, Japan, and South Korea this partnership proves that our Sovereign AI strategy is working on a world-class level. And it is a total validation of President Bukele's 'tech hub' vision for the new El Salvador. 🇸🇻🚀 El Salvador now gains a foundational open source asset that will compound across every AI initiative we deploy. 🇸🇻 El Salvador now has its own open persona dataset Today, working with NVIDIA and WideLabs, a Latin American leader in sovereign AI, we have Nemotron-Personas-El-Salvador. It’s the first open dataset of synthetic personas built specifically for El Salvador and grounded in our own official statistics. This is a milestone for our AI ecosystem. We now have a sovereign foundation for developing artificial intelligence, the same kind that leading tech economies such as the United States, Singapore, Japan, India, Brazil, France, and Korea are also building through NVIDIA’s global Nemotron-Personas program. 🧵(1/4)
