Or just good timing- I’ve spotted the ISS on multiple occasions by just being outside during sun rise/sunset. It’s not like it’s a once in a month event. It happens nearly every sunrise/sunset.

@armourEph611 @Heavyweapon_003 @FlerfWatch You couldn’t do so while leaving the original film intact. You had to physically alter the film negatives themselves. Apollo’s film negatives are still stored in their original condition. So manipulation like that isn’t an option. Try again.

WAY before modern Photoshop, there were the same techniques used in Photoshop now, but done without computers. Film editing too, with special effects, that everyone thought were marvels at the time.
