We’re thrilled to announce our next exhibition, Different By Design, running from 18 January to 29 March 2024 at 87 Gallery. Curated to mark the 10th anniversary of @MatthewsHub, the exhibition features selected works from ten artists who are part of this amazing community.

This term, our Greenwood Avenue Library Explorers wanted to dive into clay work, exploring how to bring 2D illustrations to life as 3D sculptures. They’re learning how to turn their ideas into hands-on clay creations, transforming designs into something you can actually hold!

KIALY TIHNGANG: OUTWITH Thur-Sat, 10-4.30 Kialy Tihngang is a multidisciplinary artist based in Glasgow who draws on her British- Cameroonian identity to explore Blackness, queerness, Britishness, and the crushing structural oppressions that surround these personal themes

What does home mean to you? A new exhibition in our community gallery presents portraits produced by participants using analogue film together with photographer Ruby Deverell, besides written outcomes from conversations around what home means to each of us individually.

Check out these snapshots from a recent creative session at Danny’s Dream, where the group has been collaging and sharing their favourite jokes to create a collective joke book! Led by the wonderful Lizzy Knight, the group has been having a blast combining art and humour.

A few weeks ago our the artists from our Creative Connections Open Access Group explored the wold of colour through spinning art and alcohol ink prints. The results were absolutely stunning.

The wait is over! Tonight at 5 PM, we officially launch our next exhibition, Outwith, created by the phenomenal Kialy Tihngang, at 87Gallery/Artlink. Join us for drinks and nibbles as we kick off this incredible showcase! See you there!
