After a week off the Midgets defeated East Alton Wood River 79-46 last night at home. Cole Stuart led with 24 points. Everyone in the book got in on the scoring! Midgets now 14-10 and take on Father McGivney in about an hour.@FCHS77Athletics

Parents, there is NOTHING beneficial that can come from yelling or “coaching from the stands”. Nothing. It’s not the time or place. It negatively affects your child, the other players, & the team in general. There’s a time & place for most things….that isn’t one of them! There’s never been a game won by a parent coaching from the stands but I’m willing to say there have been some lost.

PLAYERS: A coach's job is not to make you happy. A coach's job is to make you better. Take advantage of the opportunities you have to improve yourself and the team.

Yes that 6th quarter is accurate....a double OT win for the Midgets tonight over Red Bud 65-62! Was a rough three quarters but guys made plays in 4th and both OT's. Stuart with two buzzer beaters and game winning shot on way to 29 points. Browning with 17. Unbelievable game!

One of the best guards in the 618! Cole Stuart is a 5’10 Lefty Guard who’s a good shooter, crafty finisher, and has great athleticism. He is a true three-level scorer and a tough shot-maker. So proud of this dude and all the work he has put in!
