I don’t normally post things like this… but this one needs saying. In September I bought my wife a pair of @Barbour boots from @houseoffraser for her birthday. By March – just 5 months later – both heels had worn through, leaving holes in the boots. These weren’t abused. Just normal daily dog walks with Alfie. Exactly what you’d expect a brand like Barbour to handle without issue. Frasers’ response? “Worn out. No manufacturing fault. No refund. No replacement.” Completely unacceptable. For a premium product, durability isn’t a luxury – it’s expected. And dismissing a genuine issue like this shows a complete lack of customer care. Thankfully, Barbour themselves stepped in and handled it properly – no fuss, no excuses, just good customer service and a replacement offered straight away. That tells you everything you need to know. I won’t be shopping at Frasers or Flannels again. When something goes wrong, how a company responds matters more than anything. Credit where it’s due – thank you Barbour. But Frasers… you’ve lost a customer.
