She is an incoming Industrial Engineering student who was reportedly arrested after attending the March 3–4 university gatherings with others carrying the Lion and Sun flag.
She is now being held in Qarchak Prison and faces a case that could end in execution.

Mahsa Sotoudeh, a 25-year-old Baha’i resident of Shiraz, was arrested by IRGC Intelligence agents on March 29 (Farvardin 9) around 6 PM after security forces raided her family home, carried out a full search & confiscated electronic devices belonging to her family.
She was taken to an undisclosed location, and there is still no information regarding her condition, the reasons for her arrest, or any charges against her.
Her family’s efforts to obtain information have so far yielded no results.
A source close to the family reports that she is related to Pejman Zare, another Baha’i citizen who was arrested in Shiraz in mid-March and whose whereabouts also remain unknown.
Her arrest comes amid growing reports of increased pressure, arbitrary detentions, and ongoing security crackdowns targeting Baha’i citizens in Iran in recent months.

بازداشت مهسا ستوده، شهروند بهایی، در شیراز در ادامه روند بازداشت شهروندان بهائی در ایران، مهسا ستوده، شهروند ۲۵ ساله ساکن شیراز، توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شده است. بر اساس گزارش یک منبع نزدیک به خانواده، روز ۹ فروردینماه حوالی ساعت ۱۸، مأموران سپاه با ورود به منزل این شهروند، اقدام به تفتیش کامل محل کرده و وسایل الکترونیکی اعضای خانواده را ضبط کردند. در جریان این یورش، مهسا ستوده نیز بازداشت و از خانه خارج شد. گفته میشود او از بستگان پژمان زارع، دیگر شهروند بهائی است که در اواسط اسفندماه در شیراز بازداشت شده و تاکنون اطلاعی از وضعیت وی در دست نیست. تا لحظه تنظیم این گزارش، اطلاعاتی درباره محل نگهداری، دلایل بازداشت و اتهامات احتمالی علیه مهسا ستوده منتشر نشده و پیگیریهای خانواده او نیز بینتیجه مانده است. این بازداشت در شرایطی صورت میگیرد که گزارشها از افزایش فشارها و برخوردهای امنیتی علیه شهروندان بهائی در ماههای اخیر حکایت دارد؛ روندی که با بازداشتهای خودسرانه و نگهداری افراد در وضعیت نامعلوم همراه بوده و نگرانیهای گستردهای را برانگیخته است. #مهسا_ستوده #دادبان

Minoo Andakhas, a Baha’i citizen in Sari, was arrested on April 1, 2026, when seven security agents raided her home around 9 PM without a warrant, detained her, and confiscated her mobile phone.
In a prior raid on Dec 28, 2025, agents searched her home & seized books and personal belongings while she was absent.
Her whereabouts, the detaining authority, and any charges against her remain unknown.
