Four years ago today, on Jan. 29, 2022, Jerry Petitgoue became the first -- still only -- head coach in Wisconsin HS basketball history to reach 1,000 career wins. Cuba City beat Milwaukee Carmen, 91-69. Carter Olson had 28pts, and Max Lucey added 23pts & 10rebs for the Cubans.

Tonight will be a special and heartfelt game for Cuba City basketball legend Jerry Petitgoue in heaven as Cuba City will be taking on his alma mater in Galena High School in a non conference boys basketball game tonight. RIP Coach! We love you and miss you everyday!
