I just shipped my first GitHub Action:
AI Changelog Action
It uses Claude to generate human-readable release notes from your git history. Just push a tag and it:
- Reads commits + diffs between tags - Sends them to Claude to generate categorised release notes - Updates your CHANGELOG.md - Creates a GitHub Release
Customisable categories, tone, and model.
The best part? The action dogfoods itself - the v1.0.0 release notes were written by the action.

@OmriBuilds I have tried both quite extensively, and I would say both do an amazing work, but Claude outperforms Codex just because of the quality if you are able to use Opus all day long.
