Pulled up their covers and held my daughters close tonight. It's quiet here - no air raid sirens over Saskatoon. Part of me is thinking: we are so lucky to live in safety. The other part is screaming that no, nobody anywhere should have to worry about the sky falling on them.

I'm so sorry to the burnt-out nurses and doctors that have been fighting this for almost 2 years, and are now about to go through the most uncontrolled wave of COVID cases yet. Please @SKGov let's use the time we've got to roll out a science-based plan to avoid this.

Even with fewer hospitalizations per case, uncontrolled Omicron spread in schools will create a spike in cases like we've never seen, and 3 weeks from now hospitals will be overwhelmed, causing needless deaths.
