I ran the same list through MillionVerifier, ZeroBounce, NeverBounce, and @orbisearch. Results: MillionVerifier: 4.2% validated ZeroBounce: 30.7% validated NeverBounce: 26.4% validated OrbiSearch: 53.8% validated That's 11.5× more than MillionVerifier.

Confession: I built @orbisearch, launched a marketing site, and immediately realized I couldn't use it for my own campaigns. When I tested it against MillionVerifier, ZeroBounce, Neverbounce it lost every time. I had built a shitty email validator with a confusing "lookup tool coming soon" message. (The lookup tool is still coming, btw. This validator is the foundation.) So I went silent and rebuilt it properly. 2 months later: @orbisearch now has market-leading catch-all resolution. Instant, accurate, zero false positives, more affordable. I switched all @altbound_ campaigns to it. You can't fake using your own tool. Either it works or it doesn't.

AI is now talking to AI to improve my business! just watched Claude Code chat with @PostHog MCP to uncover a user's journey through @OrbiSearch honestly it felt like watching two AIs have a conversation about my business this user was rage-clicking and mistyped their magic link email! now i know where people are getting caught-up and I reached out to this user would have taken ages sifting through logs to notice this otherwise what a time to be alive!

use SCRUBBY for email validation ? you should probably know that "scrubby valid" just means that the email they sent to the address didn't bounce back within 72hrs it does NOT mean the mailbox definitely exists this is a problem we're solving transparently at @orbisearch

now building @orbisearch predominantly with Claude Code i've pretty much ditched cursor hard to put my finger on why i prefer it i think bc the Claude models are just *better* and more tightly integrated in a minimal interface (command line). it just feels nice, and i've got into the rhythm of switching between planning mode and code mode

i got fed up with paying for EMAIL VALIDATION, so i built my own... get 99.9% accurate (and dirt cheap) email validation with @orbisearch hmu to get credits in exchange for feedback - I know @WhoWorksThere and @harshasf and were interested... q: why so cheap? a: i want feedback to make OrbiSearch even better, not $ right now. i'm playing the long game q: but cheap doesn't mean it's good - is it also good? a: YES, it's also good (short answer) long answer: - neverbounce are expensive and *guessing* whether it's a valid catchall but not telling you this = more bounces, can't segment. We're going to approach catch-alls more intelligently and transparently. - millionverifier are solid tbf, but we're cheaper, and we are solving the catch-all problem that they haven't - scrubby is a network of gmail accounts immediately sending real emails and waiting 72hrs to see if they bounce: "scrubby verified" = "mailbox may not exist, but won't bounce" again, we're going to be more transparent and intelligent w/ how we handle catch-alls OrbiSearch isn't perfect (which is why it's cheap right now), but it is **accurate**.
