Bro the thing with scripted content and unscripted content is that the content made by scripted content and the content made by unscripted content is the content that is uploaded to YouTube and recorded on a scripted Minecraft server or an unscripted Minecraft server but scripted

This is genuinely a bottom 5 take I’ve seen this month lol, sure there are people who “copy and paste slop” to run up their bag, but to generalize that as a whole and slap the label on the entire scripted space is such an odd thing to do. 😭 I’m really starting to get tired of the narrative that “all scripted content is slop”. I’ve openly expressed disliking for scripted videos that feel like they don’t prioritize their story or “just do it for views”, but generalizing a scene of many very talented creators like that is just hilariously stupid lmao. Wisp SMP has been very story focused, and I’ve watched some other servers pop up like AllAspen’s “The Real World” that has a really interesting and compelling story. If you’re someone who calls scripted content “slop” without even watching the videos simply because “it’s scripted” then not only is your argument very flawed, but I also encourage you to carry that mindset with you the next time you go to a theater and watch a movie (y’know, because those are also scripted productions). I’m sure you’ll find it a lot less enjoyable as well. 😭

The debate between scripted and unscripted is really stupid because they’re just so different lol The only thing that connects to 2 styles of content is the fact that they’re both “videos made on SMPs” but other than that it’s almost not comparable at all. I do scripted content because I love being able to tell a compelling story. And it’s a lot easier to do that without having to worry about whether or not the server will let it go my way. I just love to write and tell my stories very simple. In unscripted, you skip the writing process and make a goal and then chase after that goal and then let the lack of unscripted factor write your story for you. In essence I would say that unscripted has a potential for “hype-r moments” because of the fact that the events of your video ACTUALLY happened vs scripted content having larger bounds of what you COULD create just due to the near endless possibilities. I don’t see this as the “death of unscripted” I’m sure the pendulum will eventually swing back, but even now there’s still servers like strength, bliss & ranked putting in that work in. Realistically, a good video will do good no matter its form of creation. And tbh if you’re on either side of the argument and criticize the other side then just shut upppp 😭 Make your own videos how you want to make them, enjoy creation because what you create is a product of YOUR creativity. Remember that. 💛

There’s so many horrible aspects to the marlow situation but I want people to understand how crazy it is that this plan of pretending to be a woman actually worked and stopped a lot of people from believing any of the cheating allegations.

most mc communities are full of circle jerks and cliques like its high school, ppl always talkin shit about everyone else, they get mad about videos you make even tho theyve nvr met u, theres a lot of pettiness, overall ive never seen so many egos and pretentious ppl in my life
