@BouafifNour Spain ideally are almost everything I want for Barca. 4-3-3 with Pedri not doing defensive slave shifts, a skilled RB, a striker who can score big chances and hold up play, a LW who can dribble and attract attention while still having quality as a deep runner. Just perfect

With Fabián Ruiz back in Spain's XI, I was worried that De La Fuente would move Pedri into the No. 10 role again. However i'm so glad he used him as an No. 8 in a 4-3-3, a role that suits him even better than how we use him at Barca. It gives him the perfect balance. He's involved enough in the first phases of possession to dictate the tempo, and constantly influence where the ball goes, but he's also free to go forward and impact the final third through his creativity without being glued to deeper areas. Also compared to our system, he is going to have much less defensive responsibilities with Rodri behind him handling most of the defensive midfield duties and Fabián Ruiz alongside him providing physicality, work rate, and support. Honestly, this setup feels tailor-made for him. If De La Fuente keeps using him this way at the World Cup, I wouldn't be surprised if Pedri ends up having the best tournament of his career.
