Today we officially announce Flipper One for the first time. It's a very exciting and scary moment. Our experience with Flipper Zero showed that genuine passion and love for what you do can lead to amazing results. There are about 1 million Flipper Zero devices in people's hands now, and that's incredible. We built a huge community around it and inspired people to explore new technologies — and pushed vendors to make safer, more transparent products. Flipper One is a deeply personal project. I've been thinking about the concept of a pocket Linux multi-tool for the last 10 years, but I always felt the available technology and components weren't good enough. It was important to me to release a product without compromises — one that's truly worth it. And now, it finally feels like the right time. There's a lot of uncertainty in this project, along with technical challenges and financial risks (like the current RAM chip crisis). I don't know if we'll be able to do everything we've planned, but we'll give it everything we've got. Thank you all, and welcome to a new adventure.

We're finally ready to talk about Flipper One — a project we've been grinding on for years and have rebuilt from scratch several times. Read blog post >> blog.flipper.net/flipper-one-we…

@cheuvillette I have radio controlled wall clock, the biggest issue with it is — incorrectly synced sometimes. That the main reason why I’m looking for wired ones

@zhovner On a small scale, are Casio RC watches more or less the Holy Grail you're looking for?

Accurate analog clock I want an analog wall clock that is guaranteed to show the 100% accurate time. Down to the seconds hand. Right now I’m using a radio-controlled clock synced to the UK’s MSF 60 kHz signal: brookpacelascelles.com/radio-controll… And somehow it still manages to be wrong for hours — sometimes off by +1 or −1 hour. Probably signal distortion. This is ridiculous. What I want: • Sync over NTP (via internet) • Cross-check with GPS + radio time signals • PoE power + battery backup (so it never resets even if power fails) There are things like this @TimeToolsUK timetoolsltd.com/products/synch… but they’re all weird B2B gear you can’t just buy Can someone please make a proper, civilian, high-quality analog wall clock?

@oktayegi I’m aware of those clocks, but they require additional synchronization devices, and they can’t independently detect when a new law changes daylight saving time rules, meaning the clocks need to be adjusted in a different direction and on a different date.

@NinoTomasino @Flipper_RND Already ordered this tool. Btw, this sentence is clearly saying “capturing PD (Power Delivery) negotiations for Display Port”. So there is no way to check Display Port signal itself.

How do you debug USB-C DisplayPort (DP Alt Mode)? You can connect Flipper One to a monitor with a single USB-C cable and get a full survivalist desktop. One cable handles power, video up to 4K@120Hz, and USB peripherals (mouse + keyboard). But DP Alt Mode is very sensitive, and we need proper tools to debug it across different monitors. Looking for ready-to-use solutions for PHY / signal integrity debugging: 📈 Ready to use Oscilloscope 🛠️ Fixtures + Probes 💿 Software for decoding & analysis Goal: quickly understand where negotiation or signal breaks, without DIY soldering or building custom measurement setups (we’re in multi-GHz signals territory). Companies like @Keysight @RohdeSchwarz @TeledyneLecroy @tektronix have solutions, but these are hard to access without long enterprise sales cycles. Maybe @VESADisplay knows an easier path? Any practical recommendations? 🙏

My favourite part of development — trying to find the way to get access to ~$1M measurement hardware for a short period of time.

Wayland + KDE visual artifacts on RK3576 (Panfrost, mainline kernel) When running Wayland with KDE on the mainline kernel we observe visual artifacts on the display. The artifacts appear as colored lines that look like "ghosted" fragments from moving parts of application windows. Github issue: github.com/flipperdevices… At the moment we don't even know where to start debugging this. Any suggestions on what to inspect next would be greatly appreciated. #FlipperHelpWanted

SIM server for SMS and Calls forwarding I have about a dozen SIM cards from different countries, and I need to receive SMS messages from banks and services on them. Right now, I switch between different eSIM profiles — and it’s annoying, because in roaming it takes a long time to register on the network. It should be able to: • Receive SMS messages and forward them to Email or via HTTP API • Send outgoing SMS messages and USSD requests on a schedule (to prevent the number from expiring) • Forward incoming calls or enable an auto-answer feature I assume this could be an Android app? Or maybe it’s better to use a dedicated device? Please advise.

@TalkingSasquach This is my toxic reaction every time I see yet another “Flipper killer” that can only deauth Wi-Fi and spam Bluetooth. Especially since all of them on Kickstarter turned out to be scams that cheated backers. We really love your channel — nothing personal.

@TalkingSasquach @herrmann1001 Wow, another Flipper Zero killer! How good is their NFC, 125kHz RFID and Sub-GHz features? Aw, it doesn’t have it. Only WiFi and BLE spam. Such a hacker, so much pentest 😒
