Imagine Iran bombed a US military base and called it a "preemptive strike to neutralize threats." We'd call it an act of war. We'd be right. So what do we call it when we do the exact same thing?

We call it "defense" when we strike. We call it "terrorism" when they strike back. But the Golden Rule doesn't care about flags… treat others the way you want to be treated, or eventually they'll treat you exactly how you've treated them.
