This is Savona, Italian riviera, 1h from Genoa. It's underrated and infinitely less known than nearby cities like Portofino.

Retire in Italy paying 7% tax on your foreign income. Universally. Capital gains, dividends, pensions, rental income. All of it, for 10 years. Since many of you are new here, let me recap how it works. You move to an eligible municipality under 20,000 people and you get this regime for 10 years. Flat 7% on all foreign-sourced income. Green regions on this map (Southern Italy and Abruzzo) are automatic. Any town under 20K qualifies. Yellow regions (Lazio, Umbria, Marche) only qualify for specific villages in earthquake-affected zones. Fewer options but some of the most beautiful towns in Central Italy, closer to Rome, with new infrastructure from reconstruction. I had to create this map myself because it didn't exist anywhere online. That should tell you how undermarketed these opportunities still are. The strategy that works: pick a village 30 to 60 minutes from a bigger city. You will never feel exiled. Among my favorites in Central Italy alone, consider Norcia in Umbria, an incredible gourmet capital surrounded by mountains. Cittaducale in Lazio, just over an hour from Rome. Sarnano in Marche, a lovely medieval spa town. And there are plenty of other options across every eligible region. Keep in mind that these regimes are transitory. They exist today and won't necessarily exist tomorrow. Italy's flat tax for new residents already jumped from €100K to €300K per year. Once you're locked in, you're in for 10 years, but the window to enter tightens over time. Better a year early than a single day late.

@metahacker_ @Azuki @AzukiWatchclub Wish I had bigger wrists, ser. Also, different angles make a watch look very different in photos. I’d love more sporty watches around 36mm too, but there are too few options. I guess I can accept diver like Moser for 41mm on my wrist, and luxurier like Nautilus probably 40mm.

It’s not that the process is dangerous, it’s that aneutronic fusion is what we imagined nuclear power was when we were kids. Harnessing electricity directly from the power of the atom. No steam cycle. Fusion is as close as we can get to free energy from the classical view of physics. Finally plasma fusion is one half of thermonuclear weapons. You could imagine adversaries would be interested in our top scientists.

📈 JP Morgan and top quant firms are using computer vision to trade stocks. Why aren’t you? Wall Street isn't just looking at candlesticks anymore — it's scanning time series as images. 🔍 Enter the Gramian Angular Field (GAF): a transformation that turns time series into textures, enabling models like CNNs and Vision Transformers to read financial data like a heatmap. GAF encodes the angular cosine similarity between every pair of time points — revealing hidden patterns, transitions, and temporal structure that lags and moving averages simply can’t. If your signal has: 📊 trend shifts 🔁 cyclic structure 🔥 anomalies or bursts …GAFs turn it into a form machines can see and classify. 🧠 This week, we’re dropping a full chapter on feature engineering — including GAFs, recurrence plots, MTFs, and more. It’s part of the most comprehensive feature engineering treatment in time series ever published: 📦 120+ techniques 📚 18+ structured feature classes 🧪 With full Python code, visuals, and ML integration 🚀 The book price goes up after this chapter drop. 🎯 Grab it now and lock in lifetime access: 👉 valeman.gumroad.com/l/MasteringMod… #TimeSeries #ComputerVision #GAF #QuantFinance #CNN #VisionTransformer #Forecasting #FeatureEngineering #Python #DataScience #MachineLearning #DeepLearning #Finance #JPmorgan #AlgoTrading
