@adietrichs mainly it’s about overhead bin space, but I think it also depends on your height. The taller you are, the later you probably want to board the plane, all else being equal

Never understood why it’s considered a perk to board a plane early. Why would you prefer to wait for takeoff in a crammed plane seat instead of the much more comfortable space at the gate?
