I just played through a game called 198X (@198xgame) by Hi-Bit Studios. It was only about an hour long, but I have to give them credit for making a truly beautiful storytelling experience. Using classic game genres and retrowave synth music to tell a story. Fantastic.

This is a fantastic conceptual framework for storytelling. Gorgeous presentation and feels like an M83 music video for kids who grew up with arcades.
