@CarlukeThistle1 100% and issue with pricing is only going to get worse, never be any cheaper than the extortionate rates they charge at the minute. They want communities to run facilities now

@2008Rovers Spot on. Said this for years. If all the teams in the area could come together & work with each other & create a structure we’d be in a better place. Also doesn’t help that our local council are financially pricing us out the game.

Sadly it’s the end of the road for Milton Rovers 08s. Had some great times over past 10 years and great memories, but loosing 7 players over last few weeks means the team can’t go on. Hopefully the boys who were there till the end manage to find a club soon. ⚽️⚽️

@CarlukeThistle1 Happens too often in Carluke and lose boys who go outwith the town to play or give up all together. Needs to be a change to structure of youth football in Carluke to allow teams to survive beyond U15. Running as individual teams clearly isn’t the answer.

@2008Rovers Sorry to see this. That’s the 06’s & 08’s folded this season. A real shame for the town of Carluke. Hope the boys that were left can keep playing elsewhere

Disappointed not to take all 3 points after being ahead 3 times. Not a great 1st half but much improved 2nd half performance. Played some excellent football but just couldn’t do enough to win the match⚽️⚽️
