Saying "NO!" can be expensive and not solely in terms of money: It takes time and energy to make your own bread or fix your own leaky faucet or reject ideological insanity at work or drive to the pizza place but it's edifying and it connects you to your community. You can pay someone else to deliver your foodslop or cut your grass or paint your bedroom or raise your children but you lose the investment in things that matter most and it costs you a piece of your soul. Boomers were better at all this and it's why they're easily disgusted by the slopification of society during their twilight years. Sure they're partially to blame but you can't fault them for lamenting the collapse of the social contract at the hands of slothful conveniences.
Coddled Affluent Professional@feelsdesperate

@jameszimmermann They want you living in a pod, squeezed on public transportation that double as insane asylums, and eating slop from styrofoam containers. To retain our humanity we must say, ‘NO!’

Because we don’t move North and tell you how awful you are. Let me tell you honestly what we face from Northerners -drive up our home costs -rush around always pushing, always busy -have no manners, do not say ma’am and sir -tell us our religions are wrong -take down our monuments -tell us we can’t celebrate our history or ancestors -literally spit on our graves -teach our kids that they are inferior to Northern kids by birth -buy our old, well maintained homes, gut them and paint them gray And on and on and on. Any small Southern community who has had an influx of Northerners faces one of these issues almost daily. It’s not all Northerners of course but it’s enough to make a distinct impression.
Whitey Northcutt@WhiteyNorthcutt

Interesting how often you see the South talking about the North in one form or another & practically never see anyone from up here talking about them at all.

Apprehension numbers are so low they’re cooking the books — straight Obama style. I just called out Homan downplaying a 12% drop in ICE arrests as a “minor hiccup.” The real pipelines for mass deportations (fear of removal, self-deportations) are bone dry. There is no total-spectrum enforcement. There are no mass deportations. Just soft-target theater. Now the White House suddenly brags they’ve “deported” 800,000. How? By pulling the exact metric trick Republicans used to roast Obama for — lumping in border turnaways and removals. Same game Homan ran to earn his Obama Presidential Rank Award in 2015. Same scoreboard, same “distinguished” results on paper. Manipulation 101: when the actual game isn’t delivering, you change how you keep score. Without raw fear and full-spectrum enforcement, these are still empty numbers. The country doesn’t need rebranded stats. It needs results at scale. Genius tactical move or just more slow-walk?
AF Post@AFpost

The Trump White House will begin counting border removals in its deportation statistics, adopting an Obama-era practice Republicans previously criticized as “cooking the books.” Tom Homan announced that the Trump administration has “deported” 800,000 illegal immigrants, including those turned away at the border. FYI, this is kier Starmer, the prime minister of the UK, kneeling for fentanyl addict George Floyd, who died of an overdose. He hasn’t said a word about Henry Nowak, the British kid who was stabbed to death by an Indian man in his country. Henry drowned in his own blood, and Kier can’t be bothered to even give his condolences.

White Woman. BLM Activist. Raped And Murdered By The Black Man She Let In. He followed her home. She trusted him enough to open the door. She fought for them. They killed her. This isn’t rare. Hundreds of thousands of White people are victimized by Black violent crime every year in America. Racial consciousness isn’t hate. It’s how you stay alive.

The Biden DOJ targeted Turning Point USA and Charlie Kirk by partnering with the SPLC — the same radical group that placed Charlie Kirk and TPUSA on its hate map two months prior to his assassination. Candace Owens is the enemy. She laughed and gave that piece of shit Hunter Biden a platform. She knows nothing about loyalty, only betrayal. Fuck her.

Why are we not organizing and creating a new government according to our Constitution. Not a coup. Not a violent takeover. Just replacing a government that has clearly been subverting our beloved Constitution. The Bill of Rights is a legal guideline of what we're allowed to do. Again, why are we not organizing?

Dear @keir_starmer, you seemed very heartbroken when George Floyd, the American convicted felon died in the United States. BUT you are not in the least bit moved that your own citizen Henry Nowak was murdered and the police were complicit in his demise. Any kneeling for Mr. Nowak or only for American felons of color?

This is unbelievable. A travesty of justice. One of the worst terrorist attacks in Europe was by Islamists at the Bataclan Theatre in Paris in November 2015. Two men stormed the 1,500 person theatre where a concert was in progress. They fired indiscriminately at people, then hunted them down as people cowered in offices and cupboards. They even executed those who lay on the floor pretending to be dead. 130 people died that day. Hundreds were injured. Mohammed Bakkali is a Moroccan-Belgian who was behind this attack (and the others that took place that night). He rented safe houses and provided cars for the Islamic State cell. He knew exactly what was happening and facilitated it. In the 2022 trial in Paris he was sentenced to 30 years for his role. And now comes the kicker. When he was extradited from Belgium to face trial, there was a condition that he serve any sentence in a Belgium prison. He has served 4 years and on 11 May the Belgium court granted him the right to leave six times for 36 hours each. In fact, it then came out that he has already had several day releases since 2025. They cite his good behaviour and rehabilitation. In Belgium, some prisoners only serve 1/3 of their sentence. Looks like for a Muslim who colluded in a heinous terrorist attack it is even less. The French are furious. And rightly so.

Erin Brockovich is back, and this time she's coming for the AI industry, calling out Big Tech's data center boom as the next great environmental shakedown of American communities. She launched a self-reporting map at brockovichdatacenter.com, and within a week over 1,600 residents had filed complaints spanning noise pollution, skyrocketing utility bills, and serious water depletion concerns. The pattern she's seeing looks awfully familiar: corporations dangle promises of jobs and tax revenue, municipalities wave projects through with minimal environmental review, and the people who actually live there get left holding the bag. The water issue alone should be setting off alarm bells. Data centers gulp enormous amounts of water to keep their cooling systems running, and some are being planted directly above critical aquifers. As Brockovich put it plainly, "Wasting heat is wasting water. We can't afford either." The technology to capture and reuse that waste heat already exists, it's just not being required. That's a policy failure, not a tech failure. A recent Gallup poll found that 7 in 10 Americans oppose data centers being built in their communities, with many saying they'd rather live near a nuclear plant. Brockovich's demand is straightforward: if Big Tech is going to drain public water supplies and jack up utility bills, the public deserves full transparency. "If you're using public resources, the public has a right to know how much. Sunlight is the best disinfectant."
