This is really good - when u are in a position of leadership: Coach, QB, CEO, etc… don’t look at ppl as a means to advance your position/standing (by taking credit for what they do or cutting them down to make yourself look better), look at your position as a means of lifting up and advancing/growing others!! That’s what true leadership does… advancement for you will come by your positive impact on others!! It’s gotten so old to watch ppl try to advance/lift themselves up by knocking down/taking shot at others!

There are 13 UDFA starters along the OL in Week 1. 6 of them are centers and 9 have played center some or most of their pro career. The one position where hard-to-measure traits like mental processing, football intelligence, confidence, self-assuredness and moxy can allow you to stick for a contract, two or more in the league. It's partly why I love studying the position so much. So many 'dark horse' sort of players emerge because they are some combination of technician, A+ leader and prick lol.
