83% of people believe men and women ‘should be equal in every way’, yet only 35% identify as "feminists". Conversion wise, that is a disaster. If four in five people want a product, yet after decades of market monopoly, only one in three buy it, maybe you're selling it wrong?

@FemCondition @MichaelGLFlood @TheTinMenBlog Fundamentally not serious about smashing the patriarchy, only in protecting women. Which is, ironically, one of the foundations of the patriarchy. Dude is one of those guys who says “patriarchy hurts men too!” and means “men hurt men too!”

@FemCondition @MichaelGLFlood @TheTinMenBlog Exactly. Hence why I consider Flood to be a patriarchal anti-feminist. As bell hooks wrote, boys are the first victims of the patriarchy bc their lives and feelings are treated as disposable and less valued. Flood perpetuates the patriarchy by dismissing male victims.

@MichaelGLFlood @TheTinMenBlog I identify as a feminist, always have, and I mean this seriously and in good faith: I routinely see you spouting patriarchal and anti-feminist beliefs under the guise of feminism. I consider you an anti-feminist sullying the good name of feminism that leads to the above. No joke

@TheTinMenBlog 1) Regardless of how you 'identify', you routinely speak in anti-feminist and 'men's rights' ways. Hence, I see you as a men's rights / anti-feminist advocate. 2) I'm well aware of the gap between support for feminist principles and feminist identity. See xyonline.net/content/womens…

@TheTinMenBlog @StudiesMale @UN Also a part of the Armenian genocide and in Tigray and now Gaza. And yet I bet $5 this person says “Free Palestine” without a hint of irony.

Just stop. Literally, the biggest European genocide since the holocaust was against 8,000 Bosnian men and boys, who were selectively killed in Srebrenica because of their gender, which the @UN were actively complicit in. And it's not just in Eastern Europe, it happens across the world... Saddam's Anfal Campaign (1988): 100,000 Kurdish men and boys selectively killed. The British Siege of Delhi (1857): Around 9,000 men and boys selectively killed. The Bangladesh Liberation war (1971): hundreds of thousands of men and boys selectively killed. Kashmir (ongoing): Thousands of men and boys disappeared, selectively kidnapped, or killed. Aksum (2021): Several hundred men and boys selectively rounded up and executed. Nigeria (ongoing): Tens of thousands of boys taken, and turned into child soldiers. World War Two (1933-45): 5,000 - 15,000 gay men selectively killed in concentration camps. There are simply too many examples to give, of men and boys being killed because of their gender. I am so tired of idiotic social media acolytes saying ‘misandry doesn’t kill’, when millions of men and boys have died for that very reason. The utter arrogance and entitlement of such people, to assume that just because they don't know something, must surely mean it doesn't happen. So please, stop pretending that "misandry doesn't kill", because it’s not fair for men and boys to pay the price of your ignorance. Misandry kills. Misogyny kills. If you cannot say that, then sit this one out and please be quiet. Thank you.

Like in the US a significant part of the Israeli population has some deeply sick and twisted views. Pretending it’s just Bibi/the religious right sounds like Biden saying the fever would break w/ Trump losing. It’s deeper than that & you’re doing no one any favors ignoring it.

Apparently now the Univ. of Tel Aviv is Hamas. Why are Zionists such little babies? I didn’t say 65% Israelis support raping w/ impunity, but 65% don’t want criminal prosecutions. Dilan claims anyone who doesn’t support “real prosecutions” is a ghoul. Ghouls aren’t the minority.

@dilanesper I mean, fair enough, it’s one survey. But it still comes across as you handwaving things away as simply “I don’t believe it so it must not be true.”

@ABLawman 65% of the population does not actually hold the views you are saying. The Palestinian Cause lies a lot about this. Most Israelis are just very anti-Palestinian terrorism but in pretty normal ways.

@dilanesper It was an Israeli think tank that did the survey Dilan. How is that the Palestinian Cause lying? But it sounds like your explanation is simply that people lied on the survey? reuters.com/fact-check/isr…

@dilanesper 65% of Israelis thought those soldiers should not have faced a criminal prosecution, only disciplinary measures. Okay, not “protesting” such prosecutions, but against them (a dock in pay or loss in rank is not a “real” prosecution). So what percentage would you consider “ghouls”?

People need to demand Israel do real investigations of this. And repeatedly prosecute when the evidence is there, and call out the people who protest such prosecutions as the misogyist Islamophobic ghouls that they are.

@dilanesper How is it misogyny when the vast majority of victims appear to be men and boys? And “when the evidence is there”? One rape was on video and the rapists seem to have majority public support. Sounds like you’re calling a good chuck of Israeli society Islamophobic ghouls.

@FemCondition Technically she gave that speech many times. Gloria Awards, British vogue (it’s on YouTube), probably more. Always got laughs from the (mostly female) audiences.

@LisaBritton I’d say she’s still not there since a few months ago, she was blaming teen boys for being poor marriage material for why teen girls are less interested in marriage. And then wrote a substack about how this is a feminist success story without apologizing for her 1st reaction

Jill’s a bit late to the game on this topic as there’s been a lot of progress in many states and AIBM has a whole pillar now addressing this issue, but I’m happy she’s highlighting for her readers how these predatory industries are taking advantage of our young men (when she herself admits she covers women’s issues to men’s at a ratio of roughly 100:1) Read my article on this topic for more: eviemagazine.com/post/how-big-t…

We hear a lot about the "boy crisis" but less about how predatory industries - especially sports betting, but also gaming and AI - are targeting young men, who they know are more likely than young women to be impulsive, overconfident, and isolated: throughline.news/p/no-country-f…

@Mokele_mbembe @FalconryFinance Most of it.. we had one sailor who didnt want to go on deployment pour sand into one of the reduction gears, destroying a multi million dollar system and sending the ship into drydock..and that was during peacetime
