#EGOFilmStudy - So here if you look at Round 7 Bivol had been doing solid work and around the 1:01 mark he caught Beterbiev with a 2 piece, then he tried to jump on Beterbiev. If you watch closes Beterbiev SHELLS UP and pushes back to the ropes nothing is really landing, then he times Bivol with his back against the rope catches Bivol with a hard right hand!!! BOOM! Bivol was HURT and for the rest of the round he retreats! That is BIVOL'S FAULT!!! He got greedy like Anthony Joshua when he thought he had Daniel Dubois "BADLY HURT" and tried to pour it on a "wounded animal" and he got backed off and ultimately lost the round. After Bivol landed the right off the ropes, Bivol barely even threw!! If you watch AFTER that moment Bivol legit threw 2 PUNCHES!!! TWO!!! The rest was him being HURT/RUNNING, trying to create space, and occasionally pushing Beterbiev OFF and in full RETREAT RETREAT mode. Bivol was having a great round but that ENDING to Round 7 was Punctuated by Beterbiev, the far more damaging work was done by Beterbiev, that's an easy ROUND 7 to score for Beterbiev just off how Bivol gave up so many BIG SHOTS in the final 1:00 minute. After that one sequence where Beterbiev bombed on Bivol with a single punch, I counted roughly 45 unanswered punches that came from Beterbiev some of which were HARD! Meanwhile Bivol responded with 2 punches! LMAO Very Questionable move from Bivol to try to pour it onto a guy that has a 100% KO ratio in such a meaningful fight because you thought you got a minor reaction. Tim Bradley correctly stated during this sequence "He's Hurt. I don't know if it's smart to chase down a puncher like that. Look at him now, Beterbiev taking advantage now. Right where he wants him." to which the other commentator says "It now he has Bivol backing up a little bit, and this is where Beterbiev is dangerous, this is where he does his best work, and if you back up against Beterbiev and you don't have anything coming back, you are going to get pummeled!" #EGO
