We had an incredible AI Socratic event at the @AlibabaGroup HQ with 60 guests from local and global AI startups, tons of good discussions around Chinese open source models, the recent Trump - Xi meeting and its implications on AI (so far looks very positive for both countries), Dawkins+Wolfram on AI consciousness, and we ended with the usual round of demos. Kudos to @themu_xyz team, @sunbh_eth, Sunny, @misspurple, and @isqueeniee for organizing #MuShanghai, a month long conference packed with events in AI/robotics/longevity/culture, world class Chinese companies, and over 500 guests from all over the world. The first Lisbon AI Socratic 🇵🇹 happened yesterday, @paulofonseca and @alinalatinina are going to continue running it. After London, @rstagi_, Giacomo Nicoli, Anissa and I brought the @AISocraticOrg format to Lisbon. This time the event attracted a mix of software software engineers and founders from the Agentic AI hackathon, as well as creatives and founders.
