SB 152 was introduced this year, we need support for the bill before the second part of the 33rd legislative session convenes. Alaskan voices will be crucial to persuade our elected leaders to support and pass this bill.

SB 152 allows Alaskans to purchase shares in community-owned solar arrays, not located on their home or property. Purchasing a share in a “solar garden” is often cheaper and opens up energy savings to renters and low-income community members who can’t afford renewable energy.
