Britain already has a surplus of over a million homes. Building more alone won’t automatically solve the housing crisis. This is a crisis driven by hoarding, speculation, and second homes. Make it prohibitively expensive to own multiple homes and you solve most of the crisis.

Bullshit. Everything in the shops is 2 1/2 more expensive than it was a year ago. 5 years ago you could buy a cheap pasty for 75p. Today they're £2.25 for way less filling. So not only are prices through the roof, but the ingredients is much much less. STOP LYING.

Westminster is truly a strange place where you can voice a completely self-evident opinion held by the plurality of the population - such as "MPs should not drink on the job" - and get jeered and abused by a room of 600 people.
