@5t0rm1e @Killerpixel @ARealAsset @CarloMasala1 Warum denn besser?

Wehrpflicht.

Where people are at in Georgia (other than a rapidly escalating mix of Belarus and Chechnya): 1. The people are there - out in the streets, angry, fed up, confused, but stubborn and determined at the same time. After 4 months, nothing broke the protest, the spirit is as good as ever; 2. The portion of people who openly call for an outright revolution as opposed to any diplomatic language on new elections is increasing. However, what body of people could emerge as heading such a scenario is quite unclear and I’m not even sure if anyone’s actually preparing for it right now; 3. Tonight did not portray the democratic forces in a good shape. For many people, "well, we don't have the opposition" is now a given, with varying degrees of how it affects the public mood. Some are somewhat disorientated by this, others just don’t care anymore and proceed stubbornly. There were expectations that the President would announce something viable together with parties, which did not happen in public perception. I am from the opposition myself and I cannot without permission comment on this in an effort to not harm the process, but there are two sure factors at play, which are universal, logical, and don’t imply any names: 1. If all other spheres of life are infiltrated by the regime, then of course so is the opposition - moreover, it’s likely that they would infiltrate the opposition earlier than everything else; 2. Not everyone has the correct instinct or necessary selflessness when it comes to countering a dictatorship; In a good scenario, this is all a cleansing process that eliminates those who cause disruption or are otherwise weak. In a bad scenario… well; 4. I suppose that with the whole “prosecuting Georgia over Russia’s 2008 invasion,” the share of those who consider the Georgian Dream to be outright Russians is also increasing, because honestly the share of “neither Russians, nor Europeans” was disturbingly high lately for my taste and level of frustration. This is good. If anything can end this dictatorship, it’s the anti-Kremlin DNA of Georgians. It’s always been the ambiguity and propaganda cover-up that helped them; 5. The regime has apparently learned not to get triggered by fireworks because violence mobilizes people more. In general, it seems like they did learn the Maidan lesson very well - there are limits to running over people too, which better not be crossed.

Days ago, my friend asked me, “Why are we still calling Bidzina Ivanishvili an oligarch? He is not an oligarch anymore, he is a dictator.” And you know what? there is a piece of truth. Why? Only his party is in parliament. In recent fake presidential election, there was only one candidate, chosen by his party. No other choice, no real democracy. Like all dictators, he uses religion as a weapon to strengthen his rule. He presents himself and his party as protectors of faith, only true Christians ,while calling his opponents enemies of religion. He is almost monopolist in the information war. He uses every institution, every troll and every propaganda tool to spread lies and disinformation in his favor. Independent voices are almost fully silenced. Media has become his personal brainwashing machine. He owns the police and security forces. They do not serve the people, they serve him. They are used to suppress protests, scare or threaten opponents and enforce his rule. New draconian laws are crushing free speech and freedom of expression. Speaking against him could soon get you arrested. The entire economy is under his illegitimate, pro-Russian government. He controls the National Bank, all institutions, a huge part of the media, influencers, sports figures and more. Georgia has become his personal business empire. He manipulates people through fear, lying that if he loses power, Georgia will fall into war. And when I say "he" I mean his party too, because he is his party. Everyone else in his party is just a puppet. He divides society into two groups: Those who support him "the better ones" (a trick learned from Russia). Those who oppose him are "the worst ones' and enemies of Georgia". George Orwell once said: "The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history." And that’s exactly what Bidzina Ivanishvili has done. He has changed history books, removed critical topics from exams and used propaganda to erase facts. He is rewriting Georgia’s past to justify his rule. When I think about his regime, I remember the term "fascist cocktail," dangerous mix of elements that define authoritarian rule: ✅ Extreme Nationalism – Acting like he is the only true patriot while calling others traitors. ✅ Authoritarianism – Controlling the entire government and elections. ✅ Police State – Using force to suppress protests. ✅ Propaganda & Censorship – Spreading lies and controlling the media. ✅ Fear & Division – Making people afraid of war if he loses power. ✅ Fake Religious Defender – Manipulating religion for political gain. ✅ Crushing Free Speech – Silencing opposition voices. ✅ Election Manipulation – Rigging elections and eliminating real competition. ✅ Economic Control – Owning and influencing almost all economic sectors. ✅ Cult of Personality – Portraying himself as the "wise and fearless leader." His loyal supporters and those who have been influenced by his propaganda call him the savior of Georgia, just like dictators are called in other authoritarian states. They present him as: patriot, the defender of Georgian culture and values. fearless leader. simple man who came from poverty and understands the people, but behind this fake image, the truth is clear. Bidzina Ivanishvili is NOT just an oligarch, he is worse than that. There is a last dot of light in Georgia, free people, fighters for their future. Ivanishvili needs last steps to darken this dot. Act fast before it’s too late, before it’s a real dictatorship. #BidzinaIvanishvili #GeorgiaDictator #GeorgiaElections #NoDemocracy #ReligionAsWeapon #GeorgiaPolitics #Propaganda #MediaControl #GeorgiaProtests #Censorship #FreeSpeech #EconomicControl #ProRussian #FearTactics #PuppetGovernment #UsVsThem #Division #RewritingHistory #ExtremeNationalism #Authoritarianism #FearAndDivision #ReligiousManipulation #ElectionRigging #EconomicMonopoly #CultOfPersonality #FightForFreedom #SaveGeorgia #terrorinGeorgia

#Georgia: Police forcefully push protesters onto the sidewalk after they gathered to block Tbilisi’s entrance, arrests one. After raiding protesters’ homes, making arrests, and criminalizing highway blockades, the ruling party failed to stop people from mobilizing. This marks day 67 of protests in the country.

READ!!!  @SenatorWicker nails it!!! FULL SPEACH! 👇👇    “It is time for the United States to stand alongside the brave nation of Georgia, the citizens of which went to  the polls recently and voted to elect their own leadership. It is time to impose heavy sanctions on the individuals and institutions now trying to thwart the democratic will of the people of the Republic of Georgia.  Now is the time to act. This is the 20th of December 2024. We don't need to act in mid-January. We need to act now while the people of Georgia are taking to the freezing streets in towns like Tbilisi and elsewhere to exercise their right to protest.   Now, here is what has happened--and it is such a familiar story... The Georgian people recently went to the polls, as really is the right of all mankind according to our Declaration of Independence. And the Georgian people rejected the Georgian Dream Party, which is really more and more becoming an arm of Vladimir Putin's Russian dictatorship.  The Georgian people, when they voted, rejected Bidzina Ivanishvili, the pro-Russian oligarch behind the party. This is similar to what other free voters have done in other countries around in that area--a decade or so ago in the Republic of Ukraine, in the recent Romanian elections.  It is happening also in Moldova. The people there do not wish to be under the thumb of a reincarnation of the Soviet Union under Vladimir Putin's dictatorship. And so they voted AGAINST  the Georgian Dream Party, but the Georgian Dream Party in charge of the election machinery has tried to rig the election.  And so the people of Georgia have risen up in response. And the Georgian Dream government, an arm of the Putin Russian Government, has responded in tyrannical fashion. The Georgian Dream Party has worked to overthrow the will of the voters and has marshalled the power of the police to crack down violently on peaceful protest.   In a number of days, the Georgian Dream Party could actually forcibly remove the democratically elected President of Georgia from power.  Now, the Biden administration has taken baby steps, long overdue, and I wish they would be more forceful.  Our American administration has now publicly sanctioned two individuals. The State and Treasury Departments have sanctioned a senior ministry official and the Georgia Minister of Internal Affairs.  Now, what do the sanctions involve? They involve blocking the offending officials of the Georgian Dream Party from transactions in American banks.  We can do that. They have frozen any assets these Russian puppets have owned in the United States and revoked any visas they have for our country. And I applaud the administration for these steps, but they could do so much more.  Of course, in response, the Georgian Dream Prime Minister Kobakhidze announced that he would decorate these two sanctioned Russian puppets and give them state honors in their roles for quashing the protests.  This is what is going on around the world. This is how tyrants act. Georgian Dream has thumbed its nose, of course, at our somewhat half-hearted measures. And so it is time, I would say, for the United States to demonstrate more decisive and timely resolve. Half measures are the wrong message at this point. So I call on the Biden administration to sanction the leaders of Georgian Dream, including Bidzina Ivanishvili, Kakha Kaladze, and Prime Minister Kobakhidze.   The Republic of Georgia is the home of freedom-loving people. They were once under the thumb of Moscow, and they do not wish to go back. Vladimir Putin would like to have Georgia back in its orbit, just like they would like to have Moldova back in their orbit, just like they even wish to have Romania and certainly Ukraine. And Vladimir Putin is willing to rig elections to have his agents brutally repress the peaceful protests that are going on.  Now, I admire these Georgian freedom fighters. They strongly oppose Putin's interference; and we ought to stand with them. I call on the State Department and the Biden administration in the last month of office to stand tall with the freedom-loving Georgian people. We must continue our legacy of cooperation and shared democratic values with the Republic of Georgia."
