Only positive I can give urn changes are it incentives engaging in the mechanic even in lower elos + when you have rejuv you can run it then go down blue and that’s nice. If your team feeds urn you’re sort of cooked though for the whole match oops

Only character I really enjoy playing rn is lash and I’m lucky I didn’t care about gun lash. Not huge on Abrams changes though that might change. Was sitting there playing some matches just going “I could be playing Batman or watching a movie”. Never a good sign for me.

@DanFriedman81 I’d argue that the shows butcher is ultimately still doing this narrative arc, the problem is the execution is fundamentally weaker so when you compare it to Ennis’ work it looks that much worse. Ennis for all his flaws as a writer was able to capture Butcher perfectly.

Garth Ennis was a “Punisher” writer before he did “The Boys.” He gets the essence of this kind of revenge story in a way the show writers don’t. Butcher isn’t doing this for his dead wife, he’s doing it because he is broken and can never be fixed after what has happened to her, and none of this makes any of it any better, but he does it anyway, because the part of him that does this is all that is left of him. The Punisher (or Butcher) experiences no catharsis. He destroys the thing he set out to destroy and feels no different after he destroys it than he did before he destroyed it, and when he’s done, he looks for the next thing to destroy.

Also worth noting that indom is completely countered by Dynamo, though that’s obviously a very specific scenario.

A lot of stopping gun carries comes down to good team coordination where most of the team have 1 good counter and then you just CC them into oblivion, it’s tough but it works.

whats a good way to decide which lategame defensive item I get? aside the general "plated armor if facing gun carries, spirit res if spirit heroes. for example when is Spellbreaker for sure better than Witchmail? Graves, Celeste, Seven, Mo&K player.

@STICKofWHOLE AP rounds are currently bought at a lower rate unless the gun character is counter buying for metal skin. If they do buy it you just have to adjust, there’s always a path forward!

@G0ffThew If it’s going to win anything it’ll probably get nominated and win games for change. That category always seems to be a mix of games that are saying something and games that lean more on being interactive experiences than traditional games.

IDK, Mixtape is good for what it is, but in a year with Mewgenics and Mina the Hollower it was never even gonna win Best Indie, and Annapurna will obviously be putting their “For Your Consideration” weight behind CONTROL Resonant for GOTY.

“All the men are oddball designs but the women look the same” Video games as a medium, especially older games were pretty notorious for this. Is it intentional? Idk. Does it make it a good choice if it is? Subjective. But a lot of people are jumping to the worst conclusions lol.

While some Gameoverse criticism comes from a good place, much of it’s overblown and underbaked. You can tell a lot of it’s coming from younger people fresh out of their teens with low level grasps on what they’re trying to criticize + Twitter leads to a lot of hyperbole.

1) KoG (Most interesting premise and set up. Good start to finish with little to criticize.) 2) Gameoverse (Enjoyable. I like Ross. Team I trust to have fun with the concept.) 3) TGD (Good but gets 3rd because of personal bias regarding 2D over 3D.) All 3 are well done!
