@SandyofCthulhu It pains me to see Fernet-Branca in that list, Unicum is way more terrible. True wormwood absinthe, taken the right way with sugar… is still horrible. Malört is right on the spot. On the same note, Chinese Moutai tastes like gasoline and flowers.

So I am creating a cultist tavern for a Call of Cthulhu adventure and I want it to have the nastiest liquors imaginable. Not the cheapest - the nastiest. Obviously Absinthe is a star. My problem is I am a teetotaler. So I don’t know what ANY liquor tastes like, except cheap whiskey and apple wine which I tried in my misspent youth. I’m thinking Jagermeister, Absinthe, Jeppson’s Malört, banana schnapps, Fireball, Certain Baiju (Chinese pal recommended this), Fernet-Branca and … what else? Suggestions are welcomed. Cloying sweet is as gross as bitterness so let me know. Yes, all the drinks have a magic effect TBD.

@JaimeObregon No pasa nada porque sea feo, siempre que funcione bien. Conozco un programa en una AP que se ejecuta sobre terminal remota tipo ncurses y parece que funciona de manera eficiente y segura, aunque sí es cierto que sea feo como un dolor.

What are the objectively stupidest monsters in roleplaying games? For D&D, I think the two dumbest are the owlbear and the gelatinous cube. The owlbear takes the two least-dangerous parts of two animals and jams them together. I admit in the original Monster Manual, Dave Sutherland tried his best to make it look like a real creature instead of an owl head stitched onto a cuddly bear body. Good for him. The gelatinous cube evolved to live on graph paper. I think that's all I need to say. (Image is my grandson, who was a gelatinous cube for Halloween at age 10.) 1/2
