I am outraged that a swastika flag was raised overlooking Washington Square Park. This hateful antisemitic act was meant to spread fear among and intimidate Jewish New Yorkers. It has no place in our city.
Our administration is committed to fighting antisemitism in all its forms and protecting the safety of Jewish New Yorkers.
The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating this despicable act, and I am confident those responsible will be held accountable.

@JackUlayte @qorstz @AdolphsonFalkk Indians invented the number 0, so if we think you have 0 brain cells, we are allowed to think that
English

@Aarakan265457 @qorstz @AdolphsonFalkk White people invented electricity, the internal combustion engine, the internet.
We’re responsible for essentially ALL of the reasons that humanity is now technologically advanced.
If I want to think you eating SLOP like a pig on a farm is nasty, I’m allowed to think that.
English

Rice has to be one of the worst foods to eat with your hands, not even accounting for hygiene, I don't know why they do this when it's just messier than using a spoon
Rare, Exquisite, Alabaster@AlabasterApu
I don’t want this in my country. It’s a violation of the social contract.
English

@JackUlayte @qorstz @AdolphsonFalkk White people are the ones calling Indians nasty. You can’t use that as a logic point to defend the unhygienic practices of the west if it’s being perpetrated by you. Maybe stop being nasty and sweaty (And stop gun violence too) and Indians will be fine if you call out cleanliness
English

@Aarakan265457 @qorstz @AdolphsonFalkk Not sure what’s so difficult to understand about the basic fact that an Indian person can’t say shit to a white man about cleanliness. It’s laughable. If being called nasty and stinky makes you this mad, then maybe stop being so fucking nasty and stinky?
English

@JackUlayte @qorstz @AdolphsonFalkk So he brings up a valid point about western culture that’s unhygienic and you have no retort. Probably also don’t have an answer to why yall wear shoes into the house. That’s 10x more disgusting than eating with washed hands. By the way, Shampoo was invented in India dumbass
English

@qorstz @AdolphsonFalkk Your entire race is known by other races for being STINKY. Why are you going to sit here and straight faced try to lecture me about hygiene? Get the fuck out of here.
English

@EndWokeness Right because eating with hands that are washed is more gross than wearing shoes indoors. Imagine walking into a public bathroom and wearing those same shoes into your bedroom

@MaxcoinUSA2014 @GaiusXrp @RishiJoeSanu Despite your vague wording, I assume you mean everyone of Indian heritage…Even those that have lived here for generations.
Pretty foolish to send away the ethnicity that contributes the highest per capita to GDP
Also foolish to not allow these US citizens to own property
English

Because of private property rights.
What are you? A communist?
Kaylee Campbell@kaylee_ashlynn
Still don’t understand why we allowed this in TEXAS.
English

@GaiusXrp @RishiJoeSanu Define a heritage American…Immigration and Nationality Act was passed in 1965. It’s been 61 years since then…That’s 3 entire generations of living. 61/250 years is almost a fourth of the existence of the US
English

@RishiJoeSanu Private property rights should only extend to heritage Americans. You guys should only be able to rent from us. But then you probably would not come at all then, would you?

@VinodhiniUnoffl “Let’s say it is a Hindu festival.” This statement implies that you don’t implicitly believe that it is. It is very much rooted in Hindu culture and worship of the Sun god. Tamil culture is extremely rooted in Hinduism. Doesn’t mean other religions can’t celebrate
English

1. Do you guys have any other agenda in mind for the general public other than Hindu, religion, festival, God, etc?
2. Do you have any positive education and scientific development centric ideas for TN?
3. Let’s say it is a Hindu festival. What’s wrong with minorities also celebrating a religious festival and the government of the day including everyone in its scope of worship?
4. Why are you so obsessed about religion and feeling like you’re persecuted on the basis of Hindu religion in a Hindu majority country?
5. How do you deal with your conscience knowing that your day’s work consisted of sowing seeds of disharmony among people?
6. Forget DMK. But the people of TN themselves keep wishing each other for all festivals irrespective of religion. Why are you making this a political problem?
7. Do you truly think you can brainwash people here to your point of view? If you truly believe that and have reason to believe that, I’m really scared for the future of TN.
8. What are the forces in power doing about this kind of video that spreads communal disharmony among people?
9. Is power such a drug that you will create such chaos to get it? Are there any lows that the BJP will not stoop to, to achieve their agenda of destroying the fabric of TN?
10. The number of people who agree with this post - are you all from TN, and if yes, can you name any three things that the BJP has done for the state or has plans to do, that do not include religion or Hinduism?
APR@amarprasadreddy
PONGAL is a HINDU Festival 🚩 Let's REJECT the DMK’s idea of “Samathuva Pongal”
English

@VinodhiniUnoffl So…you support Stalin, who made it a religious discussion and get mad at the ppl responding?? Everyone is absolutely welcome to celebrate pongal, just as ppl of all religions celebrate Christmas in the west. Doesn’t mean that Pongal is not Hindu-rooted or a Hindu festival
English

@ronaldofanboyss Ofc there’s cultural elements though. In the west, many people irrespective of religion celebrate Christmas by putting up the tree and buying presents. Doesn’t mean that it’s still not a Christian holiday. But, there is no issue with others celebrating the cultural aspects
English

We will never say Pongal is not related to Hinduism we are not Dumb but we adopted as Tamil festival so when Chiristians Muslims also celebrate Some extrimists trying to label that its hindu festival dont celebrate we are saying its tamil festival anyone can celebrate thats it 💯
Mr Sinha@Mrsinha
Pongal isn’t a Hindu festival, it’s Tamil. Durga Puja isn’t related to Hinduism, it’s Bengali. Onam isn’t related to Hinduism, it’s Malayali. Diwali isn’t a Hindu festival, it’s North Indian. This is the propaganda being pushed... Soon, the same will be said for every Hindu festival. Reason? First, they tried to stop you from celebrating. You didn’t stop. Now, they’re trying to snatch it away, taking away the Hindu identity...
English

@Campbell2976 @jeypay5 @tyleraloevera Explain this one to me then? There is definitely some truth to that statement

English

@jeypay5 @tyleraloevera Imagine having such low confidence in your own country that you assume our exceptionalism is because of foreigners. Do you put down your own children in such a way?
