FG approves payments to over 1,240 contractors, releases ₦700bn for projects
The Federal Government has approved payments to over 1,240 contractors across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) as part of efforts to improve business liquidity and accelerate the delivery of projects nationwide.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the payments followed a verification and reconciliation exercise. Priority was given to contractors with verified claims of ₦100 million and below in a bid to support indigenous businesses and small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
