@elchingay First, in this house we don't let canon shackle us, and second, he's lived for centuries so he may just have changed hairstyles several times over the years, Pantalone with long hair wouldn't even be inaccurate in the first place ~

Sooo regarding the new info about Dottore and Pantalone, what I had planned for my fics is now diverging significantly from canon (mostly the segment / original Zandik stuff, and where Pantalone is from) but after thinking about it, I'll opt for leaving everything as it is [1/2]

Love how hyv came around and told us to get our facts right when writing Dottolone fics. 1. Pantalone approves Dottore's funding quicker than everyone else's. 2. They are immortal. (Extra) Even with everyone against him, Pantalone will still come around and remain as his ally.

@_Who_is_m_ Wait fuck I just thought of something worse (or better, who knows)... Dottore dying and Pantalone entering the leylines to bring him back a la Orpheus and Eurydice- And when Pantalone looks behind him or whatever the equivalent is, Dottore finds a way to break the rules as usual
