My wife and I want to extended our deepest gratitude to everyone who showed our family support over the last week. Her mother passed away peacefully yesterday morning. We’re heartbroken over losing Silvia but are so thankful that the strongest fighter we know can finally rest after battling cancer for the last two decades. Specifically because of the generosity shown to us, we were able to give her a wonderful end of life experience and the beauty we experienced with her this last week will be something I’ll never forget. I want to personally thank Yahoo readers/listeners and RP subscribers who have given me the grace to take a step back at this most crucial time of the football calendar, as well as my colleagues and bosses who have covered for me. I hope to return to work next week but for now, I’m going to take the rest of the week to just focus on supporting my wife and remembering such a special person who we love dearly. Thank you again, everyone.

@CDCarter13 My wife convinced me to watch The X-Files from the start. We're near the end of S9 and I wasn't mentally prepared for "Jump the Shark" The Lone Gunmen's final episode, as well as "William" that followed. I watched random episodes growing up, but i'm having a blast.
