I was a J-school news junkie, the kind who saw it as civic duty to consume debates and politics news. This time I went to the Dodger game on debate night and ignore as much as possible, since nothing that ever happens changes mine or anyone's vote.

the (bad) new york yankees vs. mets piece is an example of how we can force boneheaded politics on anything, it reminds me of the 2017 best picture race that devolved into a narrative about how la la land = trump, or something equally braindead and reductive

Also, sports fandom is home to the worst kind of gatekeeping (you're not a real ___ if you don't ____.) These people are wrong. Be as fair-weather as you won't. There is no meaning in suffering for a sports team, and no point in putting yourself inside someone else's box.

Something I preferred about NYC vs LA, was the cheery vibe that people moved to Make It There. So you heard from fewer entitled natives sniveling that "transplants" and "gentrifiers" were ruining everything. I guess I just didn't have the displeasure of this man's acquaintance

In Q3, Foundation Series Cybertruck sales = Rivian R1T +GMC Hummer EV +F150 Lighting + Silverado EV Really impressive early ramp work from the @cybertruck engineering and supply chain and manufacturing and service/sales teams.

@Agmoseman @cybertruck Yes but don’t truly have PowerShare gateway in yet. Had an issue with that part in shipping. Would love to help once I have it fully working. This was just a quick test of using plugs in bed.

Cybertruck has an incredible vehicle to load use case for camping. Not only did it take us to our campsite but it ran our camper for three days with enough SOC to get us home afterwards. Used about 15kwh per day! Never buying another ev without this capability.
