Instead of chasing deals, I started building pipeline. 3x what I needed. By week two, I'd hit target. By the end of the month, I had 30 live deals in front of me. He sat back at the next meeting and said: "How did you do that?" For years I thought the answer was anger. It wasn't. The answer was what 3x pipeline does to you as a sales guy. You stop chasing. You stop sounding desperate. You qualify harder. You walk away from time-wasters without flinching. And buyers feel it. The hesitation in your voice disappears. The need disappears.
