The lawsuit names *singer Diljit Dosanjh, television host Jimmy Fallon, NBC Universal Media LLC, and Live Nation Worldwide Inc* . as defendants in _Civil Action No. 26 CV 04213._ The plaintiff will attempt to serve Diljit Dosanjh through process servers during one of his upcoming Live Shows in the United States. *Once served, defendants will have 21 Days to respond to the allegations filed in U.S. Federal Court.* According to the complaint, *Diljit Dosanjh “knowingly, willfully and in intentional disregard” publicly glorified and revered Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan* — accused in the lawsuit of raising _“Blood for Blood”_ slogans that allegedly fueled genocidal violence against Sikhs in November 1984. The complaint specifically references Dosanjh’s public appearance with Bachchan on the television program _Kaun Banega Crorepati,_ during which *Dosanjh touched Bachchan’s feet in a gesture described in the filing as reverence and honor.* Plaintiffs allege the televised conduct caused _“extreme emotional distress”_ to survivors and victims of the 1984 Sikh Genocide. The lawsuit further alleges that *Dosanjh acted with prior knowledge of the trauma associated with the 1984 violence* because of his role in the 2022 film _Jogi_ , where he publicly stated that _“What happened in 1984 was not riots, it was genocide.”_ *Jimmy Fallon and NBC* are named in the complaint for allegedly _“platforming,” “promoting,” and amplifying_ Dosanjh through The T _onight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,_ while *Live Nation* is accused of commercializing and promoting Dosanjh’s U.S. concert tour despite objections raised by Sikh Genocide survivors. _Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), a U.S.-based human rights group that has campaigned internationally to document and expose the facts surrounding the 1984 Sikh Genocide,_ stated that it is supporting the victims pursuing the lawsuit. *“Jimmy Fallon, NBC, and Live Nation chose celebrity promotion and commercial profits over the psychological wounds of genocide survivors. This lawsuit sends a message that Sikh victims of 1984 will no longer remain silent while powerful media corporations normalize and sanitize individuals associated with genocidal violence.”* — _Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, General Counsel for Sikhs For Justice_ Pannun further stated: _“1984 Sikh Genocide survivors watched Diljit touch Bachchan’s feet not as entertainment, but as the rehabilitation of a figure they associate with the bloodshed of their families. No amount of music, television glamour, or celebrity culture can erase the trauma carried by Sikh Genocide victims for four decades.”_ The complaint asserts claims including *Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress, negligence, and related allegations under state and federal law.

Palatine, Chicago Confronted by Khalistan Referendum Activists — “Siropa” Presented to Indian Consul General in Chicago, Somnath Ghosh, at Gurdwara Sahib Palatine  “DOJ & FBI Should Investigate the Role of the Palatine Gurdwara Committee, Especially Darshan Dhaliwal, Over Foreign Interference, Surveillance & Intelligence-Gathering Operations Linked to Indian Diplomats” - SFJ Khalistan Referendum activists confronted the presentation of a “Siropa” to Indian Consul General Somnath Ghosh at Gurdwara Sahib Palatine, raising concerns over the presence and role of Indian diplomatic officials inside Sikh religious institutions. Modi’s Indian regime is facing investigations related to transnational repression, espionage, foreign interference operations, and assassination plots spanning countries including Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Italy. Indian diplomats have been expelled over allegations involving assassination plots, surveillance, and targeting of Khalistan Referendum activists abroad. Modi regime policies in Punjab amount to an “econocide” leading to economic devastation, depletion of Punjab’s natural resources, agrarian collapse, and conditions contributing to Sikh farmer suicides in Indian-occupied Punjab. Actions Being Demanded I. DOJ & FBI Investigation Request to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to examine: . any communications or coordination between Indian consular officials and the management committee of Palatine Gurdwara Sahib, especially the role of Darshan Dhaliwal; . foreign interference activities linked to Indian diplomatic officials allegedly involved in surveillance and intelligence-gathering operations targeting Khalistan Referendum activists. II. Community & Farmers’ Mobilization Requesting farmers’ unions and Sikh organizations to organize public accountability campaigns in the ancestral villages of members of the Palatine Gurdwara management committee accused of facilitating or legitimizing Indian state influence operations inside Sikh religious institutions.

OSLO LIVE:  “MODI IS A KILLER — NOT WORTHY OF A GRAND CROSS HONOUR” Pro-Khalistan Referendum Sikhs drowned out Modi’s honour ceremony with slogans of “Modi — Face of Hindutva Terror” in Oslo as Norway awarded its highest honour to PM Modi. Khalistan Referendum activists accused Modi of overseeing transnational repression against pro-Khalistan Sikhs, the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar in Canada, assassination plots against UK-based Khalistan Referendum organizer Paramjeet Singh Pamma, and policies blamed for the forced suicides of thousands of Sikh farmers in Punjab.

🚨KHALISTAN ZINDABAD” THUNDERS IN EDMONTON - POWERFUL SLAP TO @diljitdosanjh Pro-Sikhs (Khalistan) Sikhs have once again roared in defiance as thunderous “KHALISTAN ZINDABAD” chants erupted throughout Diljit Dosanjh’s Edmonton show, delivering a resounding and humiliating blow to the singer. The singer continues to face unrelenting backlash for touching Amitabh Bachchan’s feet and performing on the sacred 1984 Sikh Genocide remembrance days. Pro-Khalistan voices have consistently slammed Dosanjh for whitewashing and rehabilitating Bachchan - the same man who, on October 31, 1984, incited the Sikh genocide with the inflammatory slogan “Khoon ka Badla Khoon”, directly fueling the genocide of tens of thousands of Sikhs. This latest Edmonton showdown sends a clear, uncompromising message: the Sikh community will not stay silent.

Great to spend this morning with @SecretaryWright and FS Vikram Misri to discuss the future of US-India energy cooperation. After India’s historic passage of the SHANTI bill, we are ready to cooperate on civil nuclear in addition to other areas such as coal gasification and U.S. LPG exports.

DARBAR SAHIB VISIT BY IRAN DELEGATION‼️ Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) Calls Upon SGPC and Akal Takht Sahib to Reject India’s Attempt to Project Sikhs as Supporting Iran Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has issued a direct call to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and Akal Takht Sahib not to fall into a calculated trap orchestrated by the Government of India, which seeks to create a false global impression that Sikhs of Punjab support Iran in any conflict with the United States. “Khalistan Sikhs are ready to pick up arms for America in a war against Iran,” declared Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, SFJ General Counsel. ⸻ AMERICA STOOD WITH SIKHS — AFTER •Successive Indian governments have committed genocide and economic destruction against Sikhs •From the 1984 attack on Darbar Sahib to the November 1984 Sikh Genocide •Punjab was turned into a killing field through state repression, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings •Today, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sikhs continue to face an existential threat for asserting their political identity SFJ reminded SGPC and Akal Takht Sahib that: “It is the United States that stood for justice and human rights when Sikhs faced genocide after 1984 and beyond.” “Pro-Khalistan Sikhs fleeing persecution in Punjab, after India turned it into a killing field, were supported by none other than America.” Stated Pannun ———————— IRAN SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO POLITICIZE DARBAR SAHIB: SFJ stressed that: •Darbar Sahib is a spiritual center, not a geopolitical platform •SGPC and Akal Takht Sahib must remain independent of state-driven narratives •Allowing such visits to be misrepresented globally risks compromising Sikh political identity “Do not allow Sikh institutions to be used to serve India’s foreign policy objectives,” stated Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. SFJ REMINDS: NO STAND TAKEN ON KHALISTAN SFJ further noted that SGPC and Akal Takht Sahib have yet to take a clear stand on the Khalistan movement. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Khalistan Declaration Day — April 29, 2026, SFJ has formally requested: •Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib •Ardas for the success of the Khalistan Referendum movement This will coincide with the launch of Khalistan Referendum registration for Sikhs living in different states of India. IRAN REGIME KILLS ITS OWN PEOPLE — SGPC AND AKAL TAKHT SAHIB MUST KNOW THIS REALITY Drawing a direct parallel, SFJ stated that the Iranian regime has repeatedly killed, tortured, and executed its own citizens to silence dissent, particularly targeting youth and protesters demanding basic freedoms. “A regime that survives by killing its own people cannot claim moral legitimacy,” said Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. “Sikhs will not be projected as supporters of any regime that kills its own people — whether in Iran or India,” said Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. “SGPC and Akal Takht Sahib must act with clarity and independence not as instruments of India’s narrative,” added Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
