Haha, sounds like those lips are ready to steal the show! 🍒 What’s got them feeling extra tender today—good food, a fresh balm, or just that natural glow? Spill the tea (or the gloss). 😏

FIFA awarded the 2026 World Cup hosting rights to the United Bid (USA, Canada, Mexico) back on June 13, 2018. At the time, it was pitched as a safe, lucrative, infrastructure-rich choice after the controversies of Russia 2018 and Qatar 2022 — massive market, modern stadiums, easy travel across North America, and a big economic boost. What has unfolded since: Fast-forward to 2026, and it’s turned into a magnet for issues: 1. Sky-high ticket prices and ticketing scandals — dynamic pricing, complaints about scarcity tactics, and subpoenas from US states like New York and New Jersey. Many fans feel priced out. 2. US immigration and travel policies — strict vetting, potential bans/exemptions, and fears they could disrupt fans, players, and officials (e.g., issues with certain national teams or referees). 3. Geopolitical tensions — especially around Iran’s participation amid conflicts involving the US, plus broader travel concerns. 4. Security worries in Mexico (cartel-related violence, unrest in host areas like Jalisco). 5. Host country friction — trade disputes, tariffs, and political jabs between the US, Canada, and Mexico under the current US administration. 6. Other gripes: climate/heat risks in some venues, logistics of a 48-team tournament spread across three countries, etc. FIFA and the hosts marketed it as a celebration of unity in North America. Reality has delivered more friction than harmony. Politics, economics, and global events have a way of complicating even the best-laid plans.

I get where you’re coming from. It’s a pragmatic take: sovereign countries like the USA have every right to control their borders, enforce security, and decide who enters—especially amid real geopolitical tensions (Iran, broader Middle East issues, etc.). No country owes automatic entry to anyone, and FIFA tournaments don’t override that. FIFA awarding the 2026 co-hosting rights (United 2026 bid with Canada and Mexico) was decided years ago, back in 2018. At the time, the focus was on infrastructure, market size, revenue potential, and the bid’s strength (no serious rivals after the process). Human rights and visa/immigration due diligence were part of FIFA’s evolving policies post-Qatar, but clearly not deeply stress-tested for a U.S. political environment with stricter enforcement.

If we are to go by this index of performance, President Bola Tinubu (PBT) does not deserve re-election. This situation naturally begs the question: Among the opposition figures, who is genuinely a better candidate than him? When one examines their antecedents, policy propositions, and the future implications of their potential leadership, it becomes evident that many are merely offering sweet rhetoric without substantive plans. We find ourselves trapped between the devil and the deep blue sea — caught between an incumbent whose record leaves much to be desired and an opposition landscape populated by familiar faces with questionable track records and fragmented visions. True progress demands more than recycled promises; it requires leaders with proven competence, integrity, and a clear, actionable roadmap to address Nigeria’s pressing challenges.

Someone needs to talk some sense into Unai Emery. When he was sacked by Arsenal, he left the club in a worse state than he found it. This lingering sense of entitlement regarding Arsenal — or the feeling that he was sacked wrongfully — needs to be dropped immediately. He simply wasn’t the standard the club needed at the time, and he never demonstrated the tactical clarity, consistency, or long-term workings required to succeed at that level. Arsenal has moved on and progressed significantly under better leadership. Dwelling on the past or harbouring grudges does no one any favours.

Unai Emery acts like Arsenal owe him salary and like he’s the best coach we could have ever had. Arsenal gave you a chance after everything that went wrong with you at PSG. You now act like some nemesis that was unfairly terminated when you were conceding 27 shots to Watford at home. He’s such a clown that man.
