@bryan_johnson Most people have the strength and calm. What they lack is permission to look foolish while building something. That's the real gift.

Sending good energy your way. That you'll have the strength to overcome what ails you. The tenacity to achieve what you dream of. The inner calm to forgive those who have wronged you. The strength to be kind to others. And the insanity to dream without care of what others say.

@PeterDiamandis If you're using AI to learn, try this: ask your question, then ask 'what's the most common misconception about this?'

@Ajain112 How do you plan to handle the taste? Most daatun tastes bitter initially. Gen Z loves mint and flavors. Will you add natural flavoring or rely on the raw neem taste?

I can bet a million dollars that u can sell 1 crore per month of daatun to genz people right now saying all toothpastes have chemicals other than this. Easy ads also. Pack of 30. One daatun a day. Biodegradable.

@getpeid product with taste makes you feel smart for choosing it, not for showing it off. The Logitech MX Master mouse comes to mind, it was functional, durable, pleasant but invisible in the hand.

@beffjezos This is really about incentives. If founders get social credit for fundraising, they will naturally optimize for fundraising behavior instead of operating quality.

@shadcn In design, fast, obvious, and low-friction usually beats clever. If the UI explains itself, the design has already done its job.

I’m not saying “no design.” I’m saying most apps can get away with just nailing the fundamentals. Not every app needs layers of “visual expression,” motion, personality, or over-design-engineering in pursuit of delight. What really matters when you want to get work done are: speed, obvious UX, good defaults, clear behavior. That works every time. The interface design should stay out of the way. I’m arguing for “design is how it works.” Do this first. I don’t want to notice your UI. I want to see my content.
shadcn@shadcn

Unpopular opinion: I don’t care if most web apps look the same. All I care about is whether it does what it says and does it fast. Make it fast. Make the UX obvious. Put the right things in the right place and little to no animations.

If Anthropic has a trillion dollar valuation while Google has a $4.5 trillion valuation, there are only two conclusions to be drawn Either Anthropic is incredibly overpriced or Google is incredibly underpriced. The trick is to figure out which one is right

it looks like an AI alliance is gradually forming between SpaceXAI, anthropic, tesla, google and cursor. its incredibly beneficial to all parties involved: > google gets cheap access to space + infinite energy > anthropic gets 300MW of inference compute > spaceX gets $5-10B between anthropic and cursor deals > cursor gets a leading coding model from the compute both google and anthropic have now publicly announced intentions to use SpaceX to launch ai data centers into space in the last week Google owns 7% of spaceX and 14% of anthropic so it makes sense

One of the things Musk vs Altman shows is how much more promising AI is than anyone expected. Sam could have started it as a for-profit company. His life would be much simpler now if he had. But he didn't realize in 2015 that AI would warrant more than you can raise in donations.

Ok, WTF. I have recently been charged $250 every 2 days by the X API. I had to investigate. Turns out, if somebody schedules a post with a link inside, X charges you $0.200, it's just insane. For 233 posts I had in one day, I was charged $43, WTF? What is this pricing?
